Wir waren wieder einmal rundum zufrieden. Essen war wie schon bei früheren Besuchen sehr lecker und das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich.

Metzingen has needed a place like this for quite awhile now-- cozy atmosphere, interesting menu, good service! The food was really yummy and the prices fair- we'll definitely be back again soon...

Mezzo is a very nice restaurant located in a a beautiful spot in Metzigen. If you like to eat alfresco you will be more than happy. Try local dark (similar to ale) beer.

Nice environment, nice decoration. Unfortunately they changed their menu completely. Now a Schnitzel with potatoes costs 21⬠(see pic). What you get is fried average meat and average two tiny potatoes or deep fried chips. If you want good chips go to McDonalds across the street - they are better. At Schwanen they hardly have any deserts. Instead they offer 48 different liquors... The few real deserts are tiny and cost 8⬠or more. Quality again is average. We had a smartass waiter serving us, not very polite that was lecturing us. When asked about the food he had no clue. The high prices would be ok if they would deliver good quality food. As it is, the price-for-value ratio is awful. Even in Munich (where things are more expensive) I ate much better food at same prices.

There is a lovely alfresco area just by the side road. The menu here is very extensive and the food is excellent. Go for the local roastbratten with spetzler, it's wonderful.Hi Gary. Thank you very much for this feedback. It was a nice evening with all of you. Maybe there is a change to visit us again. Than we try the other swabian dishes :)
