Reviewed By markcE7056EYTLDR: If you're going to stay in this hotel, ask them BEFORE you arrive to be placed in a room that is far away from the adjacent construction site! After a grueling two days of work in Bielefeld, my partner and I were looking forward to sleeping late since the checkout time at the Legere Express is 12:00. Instead of the restful morning we very much needed, our day began at 7:45am to the grating sound of an electric power drill penetrating a wall somewhere near our room. Upon expressing my displeasure at this situation, the hotel manager told us they have no control over the situation. The work is happening in an adjacent building and German law allows for construction work to happen from 07:00 to 20:00 each day. They offered to move us to another room, but was a poor form of compensation since a) we were already awake from the noise and b) we were checking out that day. A voucher or discount towards our next stay in one of their hotels would have been more satisfying given the situation. I am giving this hotel a three stars only because everything _else_ about the stay was fine; clean, great breakfast, good location, friendly staff.

Pension Famos is a familiar B & B not far from the A44 motorway. The town Warburg is a pleasant surprise, scenic but quiet. Host Sabine Ludwig and her family look after you perfectly and give advice about the region. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the beds comfortable and the street is very quiet. The main attraction is however the breakfast - think of what a good German breakfast could provide. Home made jam, biological grown products and a lot more make a perfect start into the day. Free coffee and tea in the afternoon ist provided.

Reviewed By goldy19791The room was really nice. It was exceptionally clean. Great shower, really comfy bed, the breakfast was amazing and the couple running the place were lovely. Plus, the town of Warburg is beautiful. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Reviewed By Uli1955I stay in this Pub when I go over to Germany to visit Family , large clean Rooms with nice Bathrooms, TV with Cable and Wi-fi in Room, close to Lemgo, Detmold ,Herford ,Bad Salzuflen and quiet a few places to visit during thr day, nothing much happening in evenings as it is a small Village but they have great Beer . Breakfast and Evening meals are also very good, all in all a very nice place to stay for a few days .

Reviewed By _p_battaNein, nicht überall! Der Wellnessbereich ist groß und modern und sehr geschmackvoll. Der Aussenpool im Sommer eine Oase. Ansonsten rechnet man damit jeden Moment den Damen im Reifrock und mutt Sonnenschirmchen zu begegnen. Nein, ich will nicht anzweifeln, dass hier viel Gutes getan wird. Aber.... Musste das Zimmer sooo antiquiert sein? Die Dekoration des Speisesaals sooo auf Gestern ausgelegt sein? Geschickt angewendet kann das alles charmant sein. Aber in dieser überbordenden Präsenz ist es einfach nur - langweilig. Loben möcht ich auf jeden Fall die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter, die Qualität von Abendessen und Frühstück. Ach ja, von einem Besuch des Ortes selber Silke man sich NICHTS versprechen.

Ok For The Money
Reviewed By Karen DIt was not 1st class but for the money spent, cash only, it wasn't bad. Of course the money went into the owner's pocket. Where else would it go? It did smell stale, but our last hotel smelled as well. Our room was comfortable and had a refrigerator. Only the sink was not clean. The breakfast was the same as most German breakfasts, plenty of meats and cheeses, bread, yogurt, fruit, juices, coffee and water. There were 18 guest cars in the parking area and the owner's were kind in directing us to restaurants and a ATM. So many complaints for this place. I can't join in with that group.

Traditional German cuisine cooked to perfection and friendly staff who were unobtrusive but on hand if needed. Very reasonable prices for an excellent meal with wine.

Welcoming, warm and great value
Reviewed By Steven POk, the price is quite low so we did not really know what to expect when coming to this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we got, even though the restaurant was filling up fast. The rooms are nice with a brand new bathroom. When my colleague and I asked to get a quiet place to sit and work together and have a beer, we later heard the beer was on the house. They also brought us potato chips :-) The food in the restaurant was great quality and the staff very friendly.
