We've now visited this restaurant several times, including twice on this visit to Nessebar (and we have already planned to return next week).
It's one of the few restaurants where we have felt truly relaxed. Service (from George) is both efficient and friendly. The restaurant is slightly tricky to locate, but definitely worthwhile if you are looking for more of a typical Bulgarian experience. The food is excellent, I recommend the 'satch' (a sizzling hot plate of pork & chicken large enough for 2 persons). George recommended the ice cream with fresh figs for dessert, which we both really enjoyed. We washed it down with some house wine, which was also good.
George even brought us a couple of shots of Rakia as an after-dinner aperitif, which was a nice surprise.
Mehana Pri Shopite is a lovely restaurant and I'd definitely add it to your list of places to eat in Nessebar, particularly if you're looking for something different than the many restaurants located around the perimeter of the island, many of which serve good food but don't offer the full authentic experience. I personally can't wait to return.

Restaurant with the seaview, like almost every restaurant in Nessebar. Nice environment but service without a smile.
The food was OK but the seafood salad was really bad. It's got shrimp, calamari, mussels, seafood sticks and sea snails on iceberg lettuces. The lettuces does not seem too fresh, and the texture of the seafood are just awful, all of them are like they have been in deep freeze for a long, long time and defrost.

Came to the restaurant with my wife after a shopping spree in Nessebar. We were surprised by the quality of the food because we didn't expected such marvelous grilled meat. The waiter was not bothersome (not like in the restaurant "Perla" close by). Had a great and romantic evening dinning together with my loved one.

Have now been twice. A lovely restaurant with excellent food, great service and lovely location.
Perch was delicious and the pork noisette was fabulous. My partner had duck on both occasions and was delighted. Cooked perfectly.
Steep steps down into restaurant so care needed.
Prices very good.
Need to book for weekends.
Very busy restaurant which shows how popular it is.

Visited here in August (2nd visit, the first being in 2008 which was a lunch time visit, this was for dinner).
Beautiful view and lovely food. Not too expensive either! Staff friendly (although one waiter was a bit miserable, thankfully not ours). Got seated immediately even though you could see that a few tables were reserved. This place is better than Gloria Mar next door, the food and staff are better.
Will visit again next year.

Visited this restaurant/bar on a sunday night about 8.30pm , not too busy and were given a table straight away. Drinks were served promptly and given menus to look at . It was at this point we noticed one waiter was doing all the work and the others seemed to be skiving.
After ten or fifteen minutes the poor waiter finally took our order. The food was served within a reasonable time limit and was delicious , especially the roast chicken which was so tender and fell off the bone.
We ordered dessert which was good.Drinks were of good quality and a special mention for the duo who were singing really enjoyable folks .
All in all would highly recommend and deserves its rating

Hawaii restaurant is sometimes mistaken for fine dinning we never say we are a fine dinning restaurant we do fantastic food, from a great special offer menu with around 22 different meals ranging from 3 euros to 8 euros with a free drink, besides that menu we are really well known for our fantastic steaks which a lot of people consider to be the best in sunny beach , we also have traditional Bulgarian food, large pork and chicken skewers and a huge fish menu we are a restaurant for any time of the day and any type of customer no matter what your looking for I'm sure you will not be disappointed

The Hawaii Beach Bar has a really good location right on the beach and serves some of the best food (and at cheap prices) in Sunny Beach

We celebrated a belated special Wedding Anniversary there recently with friends and the food was very good as usual. The spicy mussels starter was particularly good. It should be noted that you do need to order sides like potatoes or rice because the main meals tend to be meat and vegetables only.
Thanks to the staff for allowing us to have the lovely chocolate celebration cake friends had kindly bought us and for bringing cream to go with it.
A very civilised place to dine in Sunny Beach.

In fact the best value in the whole of sunny beach area and we have tried most over the years. Thanks to Jane and her staff who are so accommodating, the incredibly cheap prices and most of all the delicious food , never spent more than 55 lev for 3 people inc 3 courses and 2 drinks a piece, fresh mussels and prawns in batter are superb, not to mention the rest, you must make time for the white rose, don’t let the queues that build in an evening put you off, they move quickly and it’s worth the wait... see you all in August 2018!

hi we were reccomended this restaurant numerous times and were quite dissapointed sadly we had burger and a steak service was slow and the waitress seemed to be making a fuss of the "regulars " the portions were quite minimal and the cocktails expensive all was cooked well and edible just no pzazz and very basic sorry if this offends any regulrs but this was our experience in june :(
