We loved the breathtaking views and the paradise mine ... it was nice to relax for a few minutes with coffee and cookies ! It was for my husband and I 4th wedding anniversary and I can promise you it’s a day we will never forget , my husband won’t stop talking about it still ! Panorama Mountain

The massive mountain rises 4000 vertical ft and covers 3000 acres of terrain suitable for all abilities. Intermediates carve the famed fall-line groomed runs while advanced skiers revel in the steeps of Taynton Bowl. The summit’s 8000 ft elevation, just below tree-line, provides breathtaking views and stands tall over this convenient ski-in/ski-out village and the nearby quaint town of Invermere. After an exhilarating day on the slopes guests rejuvenate in Canada’s largest slopeside hot-pools. The resort’s relaxed character and abundance of onsite activities including heliskiing, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and tubing make it a favourite for destination skiers. This is Panorama Mountain Village.

This was our fourth consecutive year spending our annual 5-day ski trip in Panorama. We love the place. As intermediate/Advanced skiers the resort offers all the skiing we could want and the village has everything we needed. After a quick stop in Invermere for groceries we checked into our condo and didn't move the car until it was time to come home.
We're huge fans of the Mountain Friends program. It's a great way to get together with a group of skiers of similar abilities. The Mountain Friend guides are good at Reading the group, adjusting the pace and finding the perfect runs. It doesn't feel like a tour or a lesson, just a bunch of brand new friends enjoying a morning or afternoon skiing together. Highly recommended!

Greywolf Golf Course

So what’s the best golf course you’ve ever played? For many people, after they complete the epic journey at Greywolf, they’ve got a brand new favourite. Located in a spectacular alpine setting at Panorama Mountain Village, Greywolf is a course that just wins people over, time and time again. Recognized by Golf Digest as one of the Top-100 Courses in the World Outside of the United States, Greywolf is about as impressive as mountain golf gets.Designed by talented Canadian architect Doug Carrick, who has built many of Canada’s best courses in the past decade, Greywolf features several holes that will be seared in your memory bank for a long time. The dynamite collection of par-3s, capped by the diabolical Cliffhanger hole, is, unquestionably, one of the best in the world. With beautifully sculpted bentgrass fairways and hair-raising elevation changes, your round at Greywolf is going to be one for the ages.

Golfed on a clear and sunny day but windy conditions added to the already challenging but fair course. The tee boxes allowed us to pick the best opportunity to match our abilities. The scenery on every hole did not disappoint and the service was friendly. Pace of play was perfect at 4:20 and we waited on only 3- 4 shots the entire day only because we were playing as a threesome. My only disappointment was that I requested the "handicap" setting on the cart and it did not work (sore hips afterwards!). Despite this, I highly recommend Greywolf!

Rk Heliski

For the past 43 winters, rk heliski has been sharing the magic of the Purcell Backcountry with skiers and snowboarders from far and wide. The rk Heliplex, home base of operations, is perfectly situated at Panorama Mountain Village, a short 20 minute drive west of Invermere BC.

This wasn´t our first Heliski but by far the very best.
* Great organisation (booking, check-in)
* Fantastic guide Graham, who gave us the security on the Mountains and took awesome pictures (thanks for that)
* Breathtaking wide runs with lots of powder (and sun)
This is worth a trip and the money!!! We come back, for sure!! There, are a lot more spots to discover!
One advice: please, offer healthy food for breakfast (some fruits, cereal... ) not everybody loves bacon, eggs, potatoes with garlic... in the morning;-)
