Greys Restaurant has been re-branded into CABIN Restaurant and has a classic new menu which incorporates Smokehouse and contemporary menu items. The relaxed family style dining rooms complement the other front Cabin with similar decor and a relaxed atmosphere.

We visit Cabin Restaurant every year since it was called Grey's and we found that the experience is consistently good every time. The food is fantastic, very creative and generous portions. The setup is nice and suitable for a romantic evening.....we were there last on Valentine Day
Thoroughly recommended.

We don't know Invermere well, but we would bet most small cities like this don't have a restaurant as special and accomplished as Birchwood. In fact, many large city establishments could learn a thing or two from Birchwood.
The service was personable, professional and un-rushed. The decor is pleasing, offering a casual elegance.
We enjoyed a nice caesar salad, curry bowl and pasta special. Course timing was excellent, dishes were served warm, plentiful and very tasty. My pasta had mussels, shrimp and a Thai egg noodle base.
I like spices, and could have enjoyed a little more heat, however, the flavours were very nice. The mussels and shrimps were perfectly prepared.
If you are in the Kootenays and looking for a special meal, Birchwood should be on your list.

4 of us for dinner. Ordered the rib eye, wife ordered the Special ( Pork
tenderloin) and other couple shared the Bison ribs as is pretty big portion according to our waiter.
Served with sauteed zucchini, peppers and mashed potatoes.
GREAT meal and all empty plates except my wife who couldn't finish the generous portion , so staff wrapped in up to take home. Very, very pleased with the meals and the staff. Very nice night and will return soon to try other items on the menu. Hats off to the kitchen staff...

Came in after a days skiing, sat at the bar for a meal, the bartender was friendly and very helpful in suggesting drinks, would definitely go back

My wife and I had lunch here after a round of golf and the food was terrific, the service was excellent and you have a lovely view of the course and the surrounding Mountains. You can eat out on the patio if the weather cooperates but even the inside tables have a great view. The fish and chips were perfect and the chicken wrap was also very tasty. If you are staying at the resort, it is a 3 minute drive to Greywolf and this restaurant - I suggest that you take it!

Tiny hut at top of mile one lift. Only about 10 seats inside but 2 terraces outside. Full selection of drinks and a great view

Check with resort for hours, October was 9 AM-3 PM daily. Very good breakfast, about 3-4 choices. Excellent coffee, Kicking Horse, locally roasted in Invermere. Also had lunch, panini was very good. Specialty cappuccinos also available. Staff friendly, very helpful.

Pretty sure they're using a pre-fab crust but the toppings and sauce seemed fresh. It's expensive like most things up on the hill but a nice, easy dinner option to have in the condo. Staff were super friendly. We actually got the potato wedges to go with our burgers we made on the grill one night. The deep fried pickles were super good too!
