On a recent trip from Canada last week, we were visiting with relatives in the area and decided to give this resto a try. We were a party of 6. Seriously folks, this place is a win/win. It's obvious these people love what they do! Each dish was prepared with love & expertise. All of their ingredients are not only market-fresh but equally of the highest standard. In general we are very picky eaters when it comes to quality and service. This place wins hands down as one of the best restaurants we've ever experienced. Totally worth the detour if you're visiting the South of France.Dear jaquie t,How can I forget you all and you especially..beautiful blond lady... :-) You made our night, you were absolutely delightful, even the clients sited at the table next to you Carole & Beverly, if I well remember, while sharing stories.Thank you so very much for your beautiful review...even though I am wondering what could be the next step...a 3 star Michelin ?!? No seriously we are so so far from this and it is not our goal ! This a cafe style restaurant, but don' t be fooled, the food is very nice, and you can tell that they use fresh ingredients. If you fancy a casual meal this is the place. However be aware that the food is mostly meat, so not ideal for vegetarians. Although I understood that as they use only fresh ingredients, the menu can vary and sometimes there may be more choice of vegetarian dishes.

Sunbathers visiting the secluded beautiful Buse beach next to Monaco have the extra pleasure of quality pastries, pies, ice cream besides affordable gourmet lunch. On the first day I had a dish of very lightly seared tuna and on the second occasion the Mediterranean favourite spaghetti alle vongole, clam pasta which were both delicious. It is advisable to make the lunch reservation in the morning when arriving. The summer restaurant on two levels is straight by the stairs leading to the shore from the railway station and Cap Moderne center for the Eileen Gray villa.Thank you Heli for your good comment, we are really happy that you enjoyed Le Cabanon.
