There may be other specialized (kebap, Asian) cheap places in the city to eat, but none of them offers such a complete, hearty meal at such an exceptional price! Epi Park is part rehab clinic, conference center, school and of course the Epi Park cafeteria and can be accessed with public transit Bus 77 from Hegibachplatz. There are animals (horses, goats and fowl) at the complex, which would keep the kids amused. Ok, back to the cafeteria.My first visit and every visit since then to Epi Park cafeteria has been impressive. I have had lunch there at least once every week. The place is spotless, there is always plenty of staff around to assist or explain inquiries or even if you look confused. The cafeteria is open all day for fruit, snacks and hot/cold beverages, but the exceptional deal here are the daily lunch menu selections. Each day there is a soup, salad, sandwiches available and the meals consists of four options: Pasta 13CHF, Vegetarian 13.50CHF, Classic 15.50CHF and Meditterean 16.50CHF. All selections come with a choice of soup or salad and on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday the meal also includes dessert. The is also a free self-service water station with glasses, jars and lemon wedges.I would suggest arriving at opening (11.30am) as the place is really packed by 12noon. The dining area is huge. There are various sections inside some without a view, but most with a view of the lake. There are two seating areas under the glass awning and a large outside terrace with a stunning view over Lake Zurich. I have nothing but great comments to say about the entire staff, food, atmosphere and all for a great price! Highly, highly recommended.

They have a bit of everything for good variety but nothing too special and not their signature taste. Also I found things bland overall but for everyone to like.This location is usually well visited but so far always found a space for one.If you restrict yourself to what you actually would eat, the cost is not too high.

Breathtaking lake views from the dining area in a quiet, relaxed and grown-up atmosphere. Friendly service. Prices reflect the quality location but not the food which was slightly disappointing and rather average for the price paid. Had a dinner for two without reservation (which is obviously not necessary on a weekday, only three tables occupied including ours). The menu contains traditional restaurant food, not too much, could be a liitle more for better selection options. The food was very delicious and the service very professional. Prices are ok, but comparatively high for a restaurant outside of Zurich. Nothing wrong with it, but you should be aware of this.Dear PefisThank you for your rating. Restaurant business has become a difficult, one evening it is empty, the next full house and it is also vacation time at the moment. But we are always happy for reservations, so we can also plan better what is expecting us, but we also welcome every spontanious guest happily. We only have a small menu so our guests can always be sure to get fresh food, and because we prepare everything "a la minute" and do not work with convenience, our food also takes more effort, care and time to prepare which also gives you the answer to our (not too high) prices. Our service is professional, you get a nice, spacious table and always a "amuse bouche". I thank you for your compliments and try to explain where the costs com from. We went for an early dinner so were able to get a table without booking. This restaurant is not large but is obviously popular so I would recommend making a reservation.Other than pizza and pasta the menu is fairly limited, a couple of meat dishes, same for fish and for specials.As we sat there we saw many customers come in for take-away pizza. Depending where one sits they can be a nuisance and the staff had trouble getting past them for much of the time. They needed a separate window to the outside for pizza orders and collections!Although this is an Italian style restaurant, we didn't notice anyone who spoke Italian.There is a good selection of wines on their list and service was fine.

We had a pleasant lunch here on their beautiful patio overlooking the lake. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was quite good as well. This is not an inexpensive lunch (or dinner) place but it's classy. If you want the same view but a lot cheaper, between this place and the lake is a cafeteria style cafe with limited selections.
