Farmington is a city in St. Francois County located 72 miles (116 km) southwest of St. Louis in the Lead Belt region in Missouri in the United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 16,240. It is the county seat of St. Francois County. Farmington was established in 1822 as Murphy's Settlement, named for William Murphy of Kentucky who first visited the site in 1798. When St. Francois County was organized, the town was briefly called St. Francois Court House and later renamed to Farmington.

Very busy on Friday nights. Service is great. Place is very clean. Burgers and shakes are the best. We normally try to eat on our way through on Fridays going to our weekend place but due to popularity of this place you need a little extra time on Friday evenings.

We had a great lunch and for $15 we had plenty of fish. A two piece and a three piece with two sides made for a delicious fast meal. The Cole slaw is consistently good and the hush puppies as good as they get!!

My husband and I stop through on our way to Ste. Geneveive. He is an STL native and loves White Castle. I personally can't stand the burgers - small, tastes like fake meat, & the buns are soaked. I normally get the chicken rings that have zero flavor. Nonetheless we stop anyway to suffice the husband's craving. When we visited on Friday it was like an ice box inside. We're not skinny folks and I'm never cold. But I had to go to my car to get a blanket. It was probably under 60 degrees in there. Made for a less than desirable meal.

We love Qdoba when we travel, as we do not have one in our rural area. Our food this time did not disappoint. We were in a big hurry and it definitely suited our purpose. Good job to the serve staff, as they were friendly and on top of their game.
