It is the most populous community in the county, and the most populous in the state north of Lake Winnipesaukee. The population was 10,115 at the 2010 census, more than 1/5 of the total population of Carroll County. The town is near the southeastern edge of White Mountain National Forest. Cathedral Ledge (popular with climbers) and Echo Lake State Park are in the west. There are five villages in the town: Conway, North Conway, Center Conway, Redstone and Kearsarge. Additionally, it shares a portion of the village of Intervale with the neighboring town of Bartlett.

Keep going you will find better non cookie cutter sandwich shops. And if you see more than two people in line your wait will probably be more than 15 minutes. Staff gives off attitude as they do their sandwich making. I don't anyone is happy working there.

This is probably the best quality meal in the low price range in all of the White Mountains. The ingredients are fresh, and the flavor combinations are appealing. The portions are filling. My daughter didn't particularly care for the taste of the mac n' cheese, but only because the flavor was more sophisticated than her palate (she is used to the crummy box stuff). I especially appreciated their effort to be more environmentally friendly with paper serving trays and wooden spoons for the side dishes.

Popular with locals, this convenience store also serves a nice breakfast, with especially good scrambled eggs. Many come in for the ready-made food offerings as they rush to work. The customers can be colorful and offer a glimpse of "local" language and customs.

The food was good... Atmosphere was lacking as was one other thing... Quantity. I am not a large eater but for $10+ for a bowl I would expect to not be hungry afterwards. Seven of us (5 kids) are and all but one were still hungry.

Since we last were here standards have gone down. Perhaps we were unlucky but the person taking the order was not friendly at all and even half rude to some patrons. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was clumsily put on the sink. All in all consumer centric values have gone down. Step it up guys! The food is dependable and good though. That would have warranted a very good rating.

Amazing that this restaurant is still running, and while we did have a bit of a wait when we were in there, the food was served well and it was quite good. A bit on the pricey side, Friendly's is always good fun and food. We'll be back again, I'm sure.
