This restaurant (miradouro, or, belvedere), is located in the top of a hill near Chaves. It is relatively near the city in a quit location.It is very good for a dinner or lunch, and present great beefs and codfish. The food is very good, the staff is friendly and the price is not too high.Be aware of weekends during summer, when it becomes more crowded (might be better do a reservation).

It's a crowded restaurant with a sloppy service. The worse part is the food. Besides the "alheira", there was nothing special at all in the food. We had goatling and calf. The goatling was almost floating in oil and the calf wasn't tender at all. The desserts were just ok. It was pricey for the region and even if it was less expensive, there are way better options nearby. Definitely not f going there again.

Esta é para mim a melhor posta à mirandesa que já comi! As batatas também são uma maravilha. E a melhor parte é saber que se come tão bem e tão barato! Infelizmente não tenho nenhuma foto, mas irei com certeza voltar!

Last year we discoverd this restaurant 'by accident'. This year, we came back because we had such a good memory on this restaurant. And this was a good choice! The food in this restaurant is very surprising, full of taste and the 'chefe de cozinha' only uses good Portugese products from a high quality. The presentation is very trendy and the service very friendly and helpfull. Really, a restaurant to come back. In the summer you can also eat on the terrace where you have a splendig dview!

Preço da diária muito elevado, onde não inclui bebidas, sobremesas nem café. Doses pequenas, pedi bife de peru, onde só veio um e que tinha pouco sabor. O arroz era mediucre. Pagamos 8⬠por um bife de peru, com batata frita, arroz e uma Garrafa das pequenas de água,pão, manteiga e azeitonas. Não foi dada a Ementa. Achei demasiado caro, para o que comemos e se compararmos com os preços praticados na concorrência, onde por 7⬠temos entradas, prato, sopa, bebida e sobremesa. Não recomendo.

We stopped at random for a light afternoon snack after visiting a nearby bridge. Instead, we got lunch and had to take half of it to go. Our hotel put it in their frig and we ate the rest of it the next day for lunch. This is a new restaurant. Based on the service from the owner and the bartender, I can recommend it. Olives were wonderful from the owner's trees. She gave us extra to go. She gave us a taste of one of three specialties her family makes. From the menu, it looks like they have quite a few Portuguese dishes. My wife had coffee and they made up some whipped cream for it just for her. We had local vino verde wine. I would have had more of it, but I had to drive. We plan to go back on our next trip to the area for supper. They want to make it a special occasion place for weddings, communion, etc. for locals.

Manhã cedo, meto-me à estrada. Para onde?Carrazedo de Montenegro. Pastelaria Montenegro.O longe se faz perto, quando sabemos que no destino temos a certeza de desfrutar de um bom pequeno almoço.Sempre que vou à Pastelaria Montenegro parece que entro num mundo de doçura.Sempre umas vitrinas repletas de bons bolos e pasteis de boa qualidade com preço razoável.

We were a group of four, and we arrived a bit late (around 2 pm) to find the staff already having lunch. Still, they were extremely nice and helpful.We choose one of the quickest choices, roasted pork loin with roasted potatoes and chestnuts. Pork was undercooked, some slices were raw in the middle. Most of the potatoes were also raw and only the smaller chestnuts were edible.I must say that if it wasn't for how nice the staff was, I wouldn't even give it a two. Honestly, I'm not sure I'm ever coming back. First of all I would like to apologize for my late reply, but we had a big problem with our account. We sorry you had a bad experience in our restaurant, and we apologize for that. We have make big changes since your visit, and we hope you can return and taste our dishes, cause I guarantee you, you will not regret it.
