You step right into a Hungarian restaurant reminiscent of the old world. With heavy drapes and tapestries on the walls you are greeted by Lana with a delightful personality offering any or all to accommodate her guests. We choose the chicken marsala from the special locals menu. There are several choices at the $19.95 price. ie. Chicken livers, stuffed cabbage or paprikash to name a few. The cream of mushroom soup was delicious as was the bread. I enjoyed the goulash with mashed potatoes, red cabbage and broccoli. The portion was large. You are also offered $5 off any entree ordered between 5 and 5:30. A lovely dining experience quite different than the norm

Really cute restaurant, with good service. Outstanding German entrees. I enjoyed the Jagerschnitzel with sauerkraut, red cabbage and spaetzle. The brown mushroom gravy was delicious. All was accompanied by a pale lager from Munich recommended by our server. My friend had the goulash with mashed potatoes and red cabbage. Filled to the brim we took desert home. Their creme cake is delicious as well as the Baklava. Prices are moderate but taste exceptional.

Easily one of the finest restaurants in the Coachella Valley. French influence carries throughout the menu, decor and serving staff. Entrees are spectacular and varied; great wine list at acceptable pricing. The serving staff are what stood out for me. Exceptional! Donât be fooled by shopping centre location. This is a great restaurant.

Having had wonderful lunches here, I was quite disappointed in the breakfast - potatoes were great as was the bread. However, the meat lovers omelet was disappointing - dry, dry, dry. Couldn't eat it all. Wouldn't return for breakfast but would for lunch.

Been a few months since our last visit and say that Chez Pierre is every bit as good as our first visit a few years back and every so often since then. Always nice to have a cocktail before dinner, which included a Champagne Royal for my wife and a dirty martini for myself to go along with the delicious bread and pate that is always placed on your table. I opted to start with the soup de jour, a wonderful mussel cream concoction, which I followed with the to die for sweetbreads, (Can't seem to choose anything else.) My wife had the frog legs, which were medium in size but huge on flavor. We shared a floating island for desert that my wife insists on having on most every visit.All in all a wonderful meal and dinning experience that we enjoy repeating often when out to our Palm Desert townhouse. Very highly recommended.
