Under new management.The new menu is a mix of overpriced Pizzas and Entrees.We could not taste anything, because we had to leave after 1h15 of waiting.The team asked us twice about our order. The third we leave.

We had lunch today at this restaurant, menu formule - 15 euros, ......it was the best lunch we have had in the South of France in 6 years. The food was beautifully presented, delicious and the ambience of the restaurant a delight. There was no outside terrace but eating inside was perfect on a hot summer's day. The friendly owners made us feel special and cannot wait to go back when we are next in Hyeres. Parfait !

Although it was a little pricey, the food was great. For starters, the calmari was excellent. It was fresh and lightly fried. For the entree, my wife had the "fried" fish plate and I had the special burger. No complaints. The bartender even warmed up some water for our baby's bottle. No complaints.

Went there to celebrate a birthday in a small group. We chose the 3 courses menu. Food was good and choice quite good as well. Don't expect an innovative cuisine, but it's well cooked and tasty.

The six of us turned up unannounced for lunch yesterday and staff hurriedly put tables together, greeting us with big smiles. The majority of supposedly fresh fish served on the coast tastes like it has been reheated from frozen, here the fish genuinely tastes fresh and delicious, the menu is imaginative and dishes are prepared with care, even non fish dishes are beautifully presented and tastes. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Cost is correct. The beachside location is perfect for kids.

A pleasant restaurant directly overlooking the port, everything about it is somewhat 'low key' compared with some of its neighbours - not necessarily a bad thing! We had two evening meals that were both pleasing to us. There were refreshingly short menus with simple meals cooked very well. I could not fault my grilled fish (photo).We enjoyed eating there and thought it better value than the adjacent Le Pub.

Le BambooThis beach restaurant is at the far end of the Plage du Pradon at the end of a cul de sac, not as suggested on the map and also one of the visitor photos is of another restaurant by the port.We went at the end of September on a weekday to have a quiet day on the beach and thought we'd have a snack lunch at this slightly unpromising-looking restaurant with few other customers. In the event we had a lovely view of the beach from the restaurant terrace and our salade du chevre chaud avec croutons et lardons was particularly good, as were the perfect frites.This place is only open April to September. Parking is likely to be all but impossible in high season and at weekends, but when we went it was easy as the beach was uncrowded.

We have friends living in the area and they took us to this restaurant. Admittedly, we had just hiked for 2 hours and I was really hungry at the time but nonetheless, the house burger with foie gras was one of the best burgers I've had in my life. There's also a nice little story in the start of the menu about the restaurant but it's only in French. If you're close by and looking for a nice meal, this place is worth a try.

We thought we would go a little 'up market' in the restaurants near Carqueiranne's port as it was a special occasion. The meal was absolutely lovely, uncomplicated Italian cooking done very well. The service was friendly and faultless. As a bonus for late September it was warm enough to eat on the terrace, occupied otherwise by French diners all enjoying the food. We had booked as it was a Saturday, but other people were coming past 10pm without bookings. We each had the 39 euro menu, with one dish modified slightly at my wife's request to suit her taste. The home made pasta and the foie gras were excellent and the tiramisu was light and quite one of the best I've had. With sparkling water, a beer, a juice and a glass of house wine, the bill was 98 euros which was not much more than lesser meals served nearby.

Nicely located authentic French restaurant. In order to be 5 star, make the portions smaller and garnish the entrees with some small colourfull things instead of a lot of salad, so I could finish the ratatouille served with the main dish, which was really tasty. So sometimes less is more . For all you reader out there, make sure you leave some room for the chocolate cake as desert! You would be stupid to miss out on that one.
