The âchefâ and staff were having a drink as we entered the restaurant and continued to top themselves up throughout our meal - our host was amusing but a lousy chef ! The brandade Steph was 95% potato with very very little brandade topped with burnt cheese on 2 of the dishes and still cold on another 2 - when this was pointed out to our host he shrugged & said âmerdeâ! The tarte tatin fait maison was most definitely not homemade but frozen with soggy pastry. So many other decent places to eat in Hyères donât waste your money at La Cabane Euh pas de brandade chez nous et pas de tatin bien essayé !!!! Attention à ne pas confondre la cabane à hyeres et nous a La Crau allez venez nous faire un petit coucou on est à 5 min de hyeres

Best Crepes I remember having! Try the duck, apple, and fig crepe for a taste that is amazing! Quick service too if you want to get in and out fast. Would have liked to have tried one of their lovely sounding desert crepes, but unfortunately I was too full.

A pleasant restaurant directly overlooking the port, everything about it is somewhat 'low key' compared with some of its neighbours - not necessarily a bad thing! We had two evening meals that were both pleasing to us. There were refreshingly short menus with simple meals cooked very well. I could not fault my grilled fish (photo).We enjoyed eating there and thought it better value than the adjacent Le Pub.

Le BambooThis beach restaurant is at the far end of the Plage du Pradon at the end of a cul de sac, not as suggested on the map and also one of the visitor photos is of another restaurant by the port.We went at the end of September on a weekday to have a quiet day on the beach and thought we'd have a snack lunch at this slightly unpromising-looking restaurant with few other customers. In the event we had a lovely view of the beach from the restaurant terrace and our salade du chevre chaud avec croutons et lardons was particularly good, as were the perfect frites.This place is only open April to September. Parking is likely to be all but impossible in high season and at weekends, but when we went it was easy as the beach was uncrowded.

We have friends living in the area and they took us to this restaurant. Admittedly, we had just hiked for 2 hours and I was really hungry at the time but nonetheless, the house burger with foie gras was one of the best burgers I've had in my life. There's also a nice little story in the start of the menu about the restaurant but it's only in French. If you're close by and looking for a nice meal, this place is worth a try.

Nicely located authentic French restaurant. In order to be 5 star, make the portions smaller and garnish the entrees with some small colourfull things instead of a lot of salad, so I could finish the ratatouille served with the main dish, which was really tasty. So sometimes less is more . For all you reader out there, make sure you leave some room for the chocolate cake as desert! You would be stupid to miss out on that one.
