I am not a hamburger lover and I never order one in a restaurant. But this place is an exception! They serve up a fantastic hamburger! My husband craves burgers and this is his favorite! The chocolate malt is Worth getting fat on!

I found this place on a site for the best breakfasts in Minneapolis, and it was worth the visit. Teenage daughter #1 (who loves sweets even for breakfast) ordered the Caramel Apple Crisp Waffle. Toppings were cinnamon apples, granola with sugared almond slivers, and whipped cream--so many toppings that she couldn't even see her waffle initially. Less than half of what was essentially an entire apple pie was eaten by her and some of us picking at it. Daughter #2 ordered a made-to-order omelet that she really liked, and it came with enough hashbrowns that I could have fed my entire family (including a teenage boy). My husband ordered 2 eggs, thick bacon, and 2 pancakes. The pancakes were the size of dinner plates. I had the Gyro omelet--yummy!! The waitress was very attentive and friendly. We were so full after eating here that we made it through the entire MOA before we even considered a light dinner very late that evening. Daughter #1 was hoping we'd go back another day to try the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough pancakes.

We learned quickly that if you have the luxury of living close by, Eggyâs is much easier to get to-go. The waits are long and thereâs really nowhere to sit while you wait, unfortunately. The food is fantastic, however. One exception - the breakfast poutine sounds fantastic in theory but the chicken-fried cheese curds with the sausage gravy are so rich it almost makes you sick. Other than that, everything weâve tried sweet or savory has been good!
