Os Foxos

The overall value of Os Fosos is more on a par with proximately neighboring Portugal than typically Spanish counterparts. Consider our two couples experience: bread, olives for table with small appetizer for each, 2 mixed grill meats (wife and I) which included sausages/pork two ways on the bone/chicken and chorizo with FF. The other couple in our small group had dorado fish whole, grilled so nicely with salad- and her husband veal with mushrooms and port wine (as is often the case—sliced cutlet style meats of any variety so more typically tend a little “chewy” however tasty . Also we put in a large order for four of mixed grilled veggies which turned out equally generous in portioning. We later ordered four homemade desserts to share:flan/cheesecake (surprisingly like ours more than not)/ multiple layered cake (a norm in Iberia one way or another-in this case chocolate) / a pineapple upside down cake and received 4 complimentary sherries and Irish style cream liquor very nice-with liter plus of wine as well as both sparkling and still waters.Price inclusive of tip? Am impressive deal for four at E80 WOW! This is a great price for Spain which is traditionally more expensive than Portugal (our nearby near month long base. We each enthusiastically agreed we'd experienced a very nice adventure together before driving back across the much relaxed border.Los Oxos with respect to its surroundings has an aura of a mini farm in terms of immediacy of access to table options many of which are drawn both from their own gardens and private animal stock. It's a well recommended bountiful choice all in all!
