We dined here on our first and second nights at the related hotel (a la carte the first time and degustation the second). Both meals were highly impressive and memorable. The local ingredients were a highlight, but so too the rustic decor, excellent and knowledgeable service, beautiful presentation and preparation (a real feast for the eyes and mind) and a good selection of Swiss wines. Definitely on the return list. This restaurant easily deserves its star.

They offer a fantastic brunch with a good selection of cheeses, cold cuts, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, eggs and more. And of course: free flowing champagne. The meat offered for the lunch bit was very tasty. The atmosphere is lovely. Staff is hit and miss - one elderly lady was rather rude. Not sure why they have incresed the price for brunch compared to last year, the offer looks the same to me.Dear SkdotaveThanks for this wunderful review! Beautiful traditional Swiss chalet ambiance. Clean toilettes. Friendly staff. Traditional Swiss meal. I was with my family and they have enjoyed some fish for the two little children while I ate some steamed meat with vegetables. Meat was very soft and considering how critical I am with meat I have to admit that it was very well cooked with my utmost happiness. The restaurant is conveniently located about 10-15 min away from the highway A2 southbound.
