This is one of those diners that is kind of noisy, frequently crowded, and just overall fun to eat at. The food is delicious and plentiful (oh, those burgers...), the coffee keeps flowing, the hostesses and wait staff are all so very friendly and on the spot with service, the prices fair... We ate at the counter because it was crowded but enjoyed every minute of it. You'll recognize this well-maintained diner from the movies as several have been filmed there. Wonderful place to eat!

I absolutely love their shrimp poboys. They provide an ample amount of shrimp in a very long hoagie that makes for a full meal. Their french fries are awesome with some hot sauce on the side (drawn/clarified butter and hot sauce). I've tried several fish dishes here and so far all have been delicious. This is a takeout restaurant in a location that does not have ample parking however.

After a big financial shock from dinner at the LAX Marriott, we tried Jersey Mike's Subs at the Residence Inn nearby. Tried the #7, the Turkey Breast and Provolone sandwich. You can add additional ingredients, although maybe not as much as available from Subway, but it is adequate. The sandwich was well made and the service is friendly. Indeed a great alternative to the expensive hotel restaurants. The large sandwich was big enough for lunch the next day, too.We're pleased that you received a well-made sub and friendly service! Our #7 was a great choice, and it's terrific you found value in this convenient, satisfying option. The next time you're hungry and staying in the area, we'll be here for you!
