Our third stay at Goonoo Goonoo station and just love the Glasshouse Restaurant. This visit we were fortunate to be looked after by Emma on both nights, serving great food and wine. The Glasshouse is a wonderful experience and should be on your restaurant bucket list.

With Tamworth Regional Playground on one side, the kiddiesâ water play park on the other side, the Peel River precinct behind and Tamworth shops a couple of blocks away, Hopscotch is ideally located for families, shoppers and business meetings. The coffee is great and the food is consistently delicious, well presented and reasonably priced. The staff are also friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. There are options for inside or outside seating as well as a takeaway coffee window. Highly recommended.

Tamworth has a habit of producing hidden gems that surpasses expectations, the Deco Restaurant hits this mark. Located in the revamped CH (Central Hotel) the restaurant provides guests with a variety of GF, LF, and vegetarian options. Exceptional cooking allows each meal to celebrate the mixture of flavours and textures. Husband was given gift voucher for this restaurant which took us 12 months to use as we had heard condemning reports from the locals...we actually thought that it couldn't be that bad..oh! How wrong we were...started with head waitress telling us that she hadn't been to a restaurant to eat since the early 90's as they are never worth it to the Scallops being overcooked...Lo & behold our mains arrived by our waitress, looking very guilty, long after the smell of burnt offerings assailed our nostrils...burnt duck sitting atop a burnt potato rosti...tell me who does that....when wait staff were confronted with our displeasure it was quickly told to us that we wouldn't have any out of pocket expenses that the $150.00 voucher would cover it...rude or not??
