The food was great. The service was extraordinary. Everything felt as fine dining, except it was only modestly priced and a comfortable, relaxed feel. We really enjoyed dinner here. My wife and two daughters travel a lot more and we have come to rely upon tripadvisor so I am making it a point to review places that are worth eating to help others with recommendations and also to ensure these great places are recognized for their excellence.

This little local restaurant is tucked away in a small side street close to the Collblanc metro station. Not a place that you would see walking the area... but certainly worth going if in the neighborhood. It has maybe 10 tables, and is nicely decorated. The service is above excellent, and they really help you choose the wine and food and make you feel at home. And they offer cheese, wine and meats to take home.The wine menu is very well assorted. I chose a great Costers del Segre for around 15 euros, worth every penny. The food menu is on the other hand quite short, all very Catalan food. The mushrooms with foie was unbelievable. Fresh and tasty, it blew our mind. The main courses were a little disappointing, though. The "butifarra" was not spicy enough, although the "mongetes" (beans) very pretty good. The "tostada" with "sobrasada" was a toasted rustic bread, although they saved on the sobrasada, and it did not fulfill my expectations at a price tag of 14 euro. The dessert (chocolate cake) was very good.Summary: a place I would return to if in the area, although not travel half the city to get to.

We were looking for a fine dining, but were disappointed.The jamon was lower quality, not well cut neither. The set menu is very good value. Itâs something different from other tapas restaurants in Barcelona. It turns out, banana with duck works! The waitress seemed a little inexperienced but she was very friendly. Overall really good value in a less touristy part of the city.
