Working locally I was recommended to get lunch here , I was very happy the size of serving was generous the flavour and freshness was good, the service was quick and friendly, the price was reasonable,I definitely will eat here again

Bought take away from here during a recent trip to Ettalong Beach. I ordered combination Laksa and my wife combination Short Soup. I'm not sure if they forgot to put the spices into my Laksa or not, but it was the most tasteless, bland 'Chinese' food I've ever tried to eat. My wife's dish was only marginally better. All in all exceptionally disappointing.

A very delicious and enjoyable Chinese Take Away. I reviewed the previous comments and especially the local that only gets Chinese from this restaurant. It certainly didnât disappoint. The entrees of dim sums, prawn toast and sweet chicken and corn soup was amazing. The mains of sweet and sour pork and Mongolian lamb topped off a great choice. The Mongolian lamb had some heat but was well worth it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for Chinese in Ettalong.

After being told of this venue about a year ago. I finally went. Located at Ettalong Bowling club, I did not expect much, but basic food. My partner and I was greeted professionally and in a friendly manner. The tables were nicely spaced out. The decor was nicely done with nice big paintings on the wall. The chairs were comfortable. The waiting staff come to you at the table. Also, we have vegan requirements. our friends loved honey and lemon chicken, fried garlic prawns, lamb and beef dishes. We had vegetarian spring rolls and plum sauce, stir fried vegetables in satay sauce, stir fried vegetables with garlic sauce and Singaporean noodles. The vegetables were incredibly fresh, and very tasty. I did not need to season my dishes as well which was bonus. The satay sauce was delicious, it had a bit of bite. The portion sizes were large. We had two food takeaway containers. We were charged 30 cents extra for these. The standout dish for me was the banana fritter with chocolate topping. The fritter was delicious, the best I have every tried. Additionally, my husband has asked a staff member, if they could get coconut ice cream in so we could have deep fried ice cream the next time we come in. They will call us and let us know. In sum, this place has an lovely energy. The waiting staff was helpful and served the food in a timely manner. We enjoyed this dining experience. I recommend this place highly, due to good quality food and value for money.Thank you Amariah for such a great review. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your dining experience with us. It used to be fresh, flavoursome, & hot!!, naturally flavoured. Well last visit, in which we dined at home once again, was awful, gluggy, full of artifical flavouring.. disgusting actually.A while later friends bought their office lunch from there, & one was violently ill the same evening....needless I say anymore...very disappointing for us & the Owners...such a shame.

Never again would I buy food there. Purchased takeaway and it was the worst I have had. Boneless Lemon chicken was boneless but was all dark meat and heavily battered and tasted like it had been deep fried in old burnt oil. Mongolian lamb was 90% onion and the vegetarian fried rice was just brown rice with a couple of strands of carrot. If we had of eaten in, instead of taking it away, I would have walked out after tasting the food and refused to pay. The look of the restaurant should have sent warning bells ringing as it was very untidy to look at inside.
