A place for families a very safe beach excellent cafe nearby and children's playground with shade, tables are available if you would like to have with a picnic The main shopping centre is close by.

The sun may have set on the Ocean Beach.
Desperately in need of a bit of maintenance and perhaps owners/management that cares.
The back bar and kitchen staff are either inexperienced, don't have a clue, or a mixture of both. We walked out and went elsewhere for a meal. Note to OB, there are other options in Umina, try a lityle harder.
The rooms are cheap. Thats all I have to say about that.

I visit this great boutique on a regular basis, the girls are always welcoming and friendly, they have passion for what they do, and their scarves are 'original and hand painted' by Gail, so you will never get the same, they are 'one offs'.
Remember this great little boutique for something special for that 'special lady in your life' especially come up to mothers day.

Had a lesson with Manasup standup paddle school and had a fun time. The instructor Paul was patient and coached me to stand up paddle. He made it so much fun too. The lesson was held at the south end of Umina Beach (kiddies corner). I even managed to catch some small waves. I am totally hooked on SUP now. I can even purchase a sup board from Manasup. Highly recommend giving SUP a go, especially with Manasup.

Ocean Beach Bike hire has 8 bikes for hire inside the Ocean beach Holiday park.Station has 8 bikes for hire including 6 unisex bikes (4 with child seats and 2 with Baskets) for riders over 145 cm. Additionally there are 2 children bikes which have 3 gears and 24 inch wheels, suitable for riders over 120cm tall The bike path is right there so start exploring Ocean beach to Ettalong by bike.
