I tried this Restaurant during Business Travel. Wanting a quick Meal, I seen this Restaurant whilst filling up my Car across the road.I ordered Honey King Prawns & a Special fried Rice. The Honey King Prawns were dry. (Even with the Sauce). The Fried rice just ok, but, not impressive. People giving this Restaurant a Top Rating need to try other Chinese Restaurants out of town. There is no comparison. Average at best, but not terrible.
The name has changed to Jumbucks, it is still attached to the Woolpack Hotel, very nice food, everyone enjoyed what they had ordered and there was not much food left at the end. Would definitely recommend to have a very nice Chinese meal, 5 out of 5.

Established since 1970s with high reputation, locates in the heart of the town providing excellent and tasted Chinese food. Open from Tuesday to Sunday for Lunch and Dinner, Dine in or take away, catering all kinds of parties and functions.
On our first trip to Mudgee we were impressed by the advertised lunch special. Also impressed by service and food - definitely plenty of it and we could have got away with one between the two of us. Well worth a visit for a meal. This was the chicken curry - my wife had the Mongolian combination. Both were very good.
