The food is uniformly quite good at this traditional Chinese restaurant. The crispy fried fish and shrimp dishes in particular were excellent. The decor looks like it has not been updated since 1986, and is in dire need of modernization. In any event, the food makes it well worth a visit, especially with a large group.

My wife and I recently moved to Long Island and after living in LA for many years, we have been looking for our own San Gabriel Valley chinese food scene out here. Chef Wang has a full menu to choose from and we have not been disappointed so far with all the dishes weâve tried. We had some friends who came over and we ordered the lunch specials which are priced well with generous portions and tasted great. Will recommend this restaurant!

Franklin Avenue can be costly, but in our first dinner meeting at this place, we were pleasantly surprised. The dim sum was average but the sati was excellent. The main courses were a Sezuan (sp) hot chicken dish that was excellent and a Thai style basil dish that was better than some Thai restaurants because there was no soupy sauce. The sauces for both main courses was just enough for the dish. These were not special dishes but the avg expense was about $18.50, what "Chef's Specials" cost elsewhere, but the quality was above average and we will be going again. With drinks and overpriced ice cream the bill was over$9O so next time no ice cream. As a business dinner, can't nix the drinks but I will if it becomes a family visit. The food is delicious, so you know the deal now.
