I haven’t been here in quite some time. Last time I enjoyed really great wine and very nice food. This time it was as enjoyable as the last. We had a bottle of Italian wine that was reasonably priced. My wife and I shared a poached pear arugula salad which was delicious and then she ordered a pasta bolgenese with short rib and sausage meat balls. Delish! I had the seafood Di Avalo over black linguini. Lots of mixed seafood treats, lobster, shrimp, calamari, mussels & clams. Wonderful. We enjoyed our bottle and skipped desert. Waiter was great, attentive and knowledgeable. We'll be back.Enjoy

Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas

So disappointed! Our first visit to the Westbury location was when my family and I was invited here by my cousin in 2018. When we were seated, the chef came over to our table and I realized my cousin knew the chef. The chef recommended some items and we ordered some items. All was absolutely delicious! In January, we returned, for lunch, thinking we would have the same level of quality and service. My wife and I had the BBQ Pork and my son, the Spuntino Burger, along with other items. WE WERE NOT IMPPRESSED! There was hardly any pork on the bun and what was on it, was fat, which we removed. It was not only my BBQ Pork but also, my wife’s. The side or salad as we were told, was chick peas. Nothing wrong with the chick peas but the quantity looked like it was about 2 table spoons. For $14, one would expect a good quantity. As for my son’s burger, it was over cooked and dry. Overall, the food appeared to be put together in a hurry with whatever was left over. Visually, it was not impressive nor did it taste like there was some thought put into it. A restaurant should always have consistency in the quality of its food.Hello, we are disappointed to hear about your recent lunch visit with us as it certainly wasn’t up to our standards. If you’d please private message us your phone number our general manager would love to reach out!

I enjoyed my Cobb Salad w/shrimp and my son enjoyed his dishes; Caesar Salad and pasta with meatballs (nothing tremendous, just good). What I really liked about my experience here, however, was the vino. There are several nice options to choose from, red and white, and a variety of 3 oz. pours (red) that you can taste before you buy. Nothing too exotic, mind you, just a solid selection of good wines.

This place is a little different than most of the GC restaurants, but in a good way. Have wide variety of wines, many by the glass. They now also serve beer. We like to design our own board to start (meats and cheeses). Then share a few tapas that offer a nice variety and are all delicious. Always save room for coffee and dessert. Interesting place. Perhaps a little pricey
