ordered via grubhub - came 30min faster than initial estimate. Wonton soup was good, egg rolls were plentiful, and fried wontons had meat in them. They gave you options on the spiciness of the sesame chicken (tailored to your taste)... the only thing that kept it from excellent was that the pork fried rice seemed a little dry (but they gave you plenty of sauces!) added plus - they put plates and utensils in the bag without having to ask!

House of Wu 52 Providence Street West Warwick, R.I. 02893.Telephone number is 401 821-9838.The hours are: Monday through Thursday and Sunday 11:A.M.-9:45 P.M.Friday and Saturday 11:00 A.M.-10:45 P.MOpen every day except for Thanksgiving.House of Wu has: appetizers, soups, sweet n sour, chow mein or chop suey, fried rice, chicken, beef, pork, seafood, duck, combination plates, vegetables, egg foo young,lo mein or mi fun, bean curds, American dishes, etc.Louis and I had the same meal Chicken Chow Mein with White Rice and Egg Roll.He uses chopsticks when he eats Chinese food.We had some hot tea with our meals.Louis and I have been going to House of Wu for years.We highly recommend it.Louis and I found out about House of Wu from when he was working at his other job.Very friendly and nice people working there.Some of them know us very well.Every year House of Wu gives out a free calendar to their customers.Parking is no problem it is a good size parking lot.Prices aren't too bad for a Chinese restaurant.Thank You.

Loved this place. ..what happened? Went a few months ago and it was just OK. Went yesterday and the shrimp nime chow had almost zero shrimp or basil. The steamed mussels in "special sauce" were mussels in a bowl of what I think was chicken broth. The pad thai tasted OK; but was very gooey. Finally, they were out of both the Foolproof porter and the Dogfish IPA...their only two craft beers. What happened here? Might as well go to Taste China of China and bring your own drink...no atmisphere; but the food is better and costs a lot less.

...of course you don't but you better be prepared to do just that at China Star.i can't comment on the food because we left a minute or so after walking in when we realized that this place doesn't have any heat on. It's early March and about 35 degrees out...and not that much better inside. If you like take-out this place may be okay. Or, I suppose, you could just go in the summer?

We were very nervous to get take-out from here because the restaurant didn't look so nice, but we are glad we did! Everything we have gotten has been great. Not too greasy, and the portions are large. They also deliver, which is awesome. Overally, GREAT Chinese take-out!

well run with outstanding chinese food. great decor and lots of parking food is fresh,hot,large portions.my favorite is the po po plater for one. It serves more than two.Cheap. very good rice always fresh. the dishes that have veggies are always crisp,hot and very tasty. Combo plates are huge and a great value. Like chinese you will like this place a lot.
