We were so happy to have dinner in this restaurant on a Saturday evening in the city of Zurich!We have been well-served by the restaurant owners, Federico and Joel , they are very professional and attentive.Food was excellent and creative!

We had my grandmotherâs birthday dinner here and enjoyed it. We did think that compared to other haute cuisine it was considerably expensive, nevertheless it was worth the experience to prove that vegan haute cuisine is possible. We all really enjoyed the Maluns dish, but did not like the sea buckthorn/ chocolate dessert so much.

It has been years since we had a meal at the Linden, but we were glad to retry it last week. We were welcomed by kind and professional staff. Our main course (we only had one course) was on the table 20 minutes after we arrived. The dishes were well cooked and very tasty.We ate upstairs, outside on the balcony. Although this is next to a pretty busy intersection, the noise did not disturb our lovely meal.Definitely going back for more.

As asparagus is in season, I had to try their white asparagus with hollandaise starter, only to be bitterly disappointed that the hollandaise was the bottled, horrible mayonnaisey type. Ew. The veal schnitzel however, was delicious with loads of lovely lemony sauce and fresh crispy fries. My family members had cordon bleu which they also raved about and the pizzas and calzone looked huge and smelled amazing. The service was timeous and friendly and the atmosphere is part bar, part fine dining with white table clothes,etc. Certainly a good restaurant.

The food was good, the reservation was smooth, but in general we were very underwhelmed and are puzzled by the fantastically high rating on tripadvisor, which is why we wanted to share a review. This is a restaurant that we would have found by the dozens in London or Singapore where we used to live. The food was fresh and it was very tasty, but the menu was very limited and we could actually not find anything we liked (Vitello Tonnato as the only meat option when there are at least 2 overpriced ravioli dishes, for example; and for fish only the raw tartar...all of this is way too taste-specific and there was non dish that would suit a more general palate. The menu changes every month, and it had changed on that particular day with the menu not available on the website...we actually saw other parties sit down and ask about items on the menu and leave again, but we decided to stay). Desert was also overpriced and not that great. We had a table outside, which was on the sidewalk with many people walking by very close to us (and given it is adjacent to Langstrasse, these people were sometimes not very pleasant or asking us for money). In general, this is a very expensive option for a night out, food is good, but we were looking for an anniversary dinner/special experience, which is clearly was not.Dear chooun14Thank you so much for your review. I went for lunch with a couple of colleagues to Restaurant Krone and overall it was a very good meal. Deliciously crisp and fresh salad to start and a large portion of venison for the main dish. The wine was great and so was the chestnut mousse dessert.I was informed by one of my colleagues that the restaurant fulfills a social cause of providing employment to people who have been out of employment for extended periods and help them get back to the job market. Arrived on a Tuesday evening which seemed to be the start of the 'Wild' or 'game' season for this restaurant. Parking was ample and easy to get ti by tram. Very traditional deco, cosy and welcoming service. Restaurant was very full. Wine list excellent with some ' please try me' Swiss numbers. Food was very tasty and fresh, I had a well prepared Venison with all the expected trimmings, mopped up every morsel! My dining guests also enjoyed. Would come again. Conclusion, good, honest hearty seasonal locally produced food that hadnt been messed about with, 10/10.

This restaurant is a bit far from the Old Town Zurich and you have to take a taxi there. Itâs modernly and airy decorated.There were limited dishes to formulate a 3 or 5 or 8 tasting menu of your choice. All the dishes we chose were outstandingly delicious with a big wine list to choose from. The service was very good. It was probably the best choice of this trip.

We headed out to Schlieren based on some other web site's recommendation. We were a little reluctant at first as the 70s decor isn't very inviting. However, the great Austrian food easily makes up for it. The Wienerschnitzel is somewhat pricey, but given the excellent quality of the Schnitzel plus the big salad which is included in the price and served as the first course it's absolutely worth it. The Palatschinken (pancakes) I had for dessert were totally delicious as well. I only wish the atmosphere and decor could match the great food - I'd hand out five points in heartbeat!

Nice and warm place, we were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and we were served by a super nice and gentle young chap. We had a nice corner where our dog got water before we got our drinks ;)Good food, honest portions, the cordon bleu were really tasty. Impossible to have dessert after that although we wanted to try two of them!That will be for next time!Thank you DMLDML for the lovely feedback!Honest portions are important for us, so you start next time maybe wit the dessert!
