I went for lunch with a couple of colleagues to Restaurant Krone and overall it was a very good meal. Deliciously crisp and fresh salad to start and a large portion of venison for the main dish. The wine was great and so was the chestnut mousse dessert.I was informed by one of my colleagues that the restaurant fulfills a social cause of providing employment to people who have been out of employment for extended periods and help them get back to the job market. This is commendable and the staff were delightful to interact with.Kudos!Dear MSB_SGThank You very much for your compliment. We hope to see You soon.

Arrived on a Tuesday evening which seemed to be the start of the 'Wild' or 'game' season for this restaurant. Parking was ample and easy to get ti by tram. Very traditional deco, cosy and welcoming service. Restaurant was very full. Wine list excellent with some ' please try me' Swiss numbers. Food was very tasty and fresh, I had a well prepared Venison with all the expected trimmings, mopped up every morsel! My dining guests also enjoyed. Would come again. Conclusion, good, honest hearty seasonal locally produced food that hadnt been messed about with, 10/10.

This restaurant is a bit far from the Old Town Zurich and you have to take a taxi there. Itâs modernly and airy decorated.There were limited dishes to formulate a 3 or 5 or 8 tasting menu of your choice. All the dishes we chose were outstandingly delicious with a big wine list to choose from. The service was very good. It was probably the best choice of this trip.

We headed out to Schlieren based on some other web site's recommendation. We were a little reluctant at first as the 70s decor isn't very inviting. However, the great Austrian food easily makes up for it. The Wienerschnitzel is somewhat pricey, but given the excellent quality of the Schnitzel plus the big salad which is included in the price and served as the first course it's absolutely worth it. The Palatschinken (pancakes) I had for dessert were totally delicious as well. I only wish the atmosphere and decor could match the great food - I'd hand out five points in heartbeat!

Now everyone likes there pizzas differently however this pizza was absolutely fantastic, the crust was nice and thin and the toppings were delicious and fresh! We also had the bruschetta and tiramisu! Highly recommend this place if youâre keen for a large and quality meal!

Nice and warm place, we were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and we were served by a super nice and gentle young chap. We had a nice corner where our dog got water before we got our drinks ;)Good food, honest portions, the cordon bleu were really tasty. Impossible to have dessert after that although we wanted to try two of them!That will be for next time!Thank you DMLDML for the lovely feedback!Honest portions are important for us, so you start next time maybe wit the dessert! I was introduced to the Grotto Reale by a business friend some 2 years ago.Since then I am back rather often. I think value/quality is a perfect match. Price level most definitely on the low side. Food, particular meat is impeccable and done at customers request at its best. Starters: shrimps in garlic butter or sepia simply delicious. The owner and the waiter Santiago charming, smiling people.Only Spanish wines but most of them at the upper end re quality price wise very decent. Generous pouring of digestives.One of best best plus: open daily but also on Sundays.

What kind of restaurant instead of preparion food while you are waiting, give you sliced beef prepared from the night (they confirm this when I pointed this out to the chef) and give you mash potatoes just adding boiled water to the pasl. I think, Small sliced beef portion and mashed potatoes cost 32 franks. Quality is disgusting, you can eat much testy and fresh prepared food in any Daily in NYC. Or you never be wrong in France with freshly prepared stake and salad on side for more than 20-22 euros. Disgusting overpriced place. I would not mind to pay this if it would be at least freshly prepared, but it is not. Awful experience with Swiss restaurant.Dear Olivia TravelocityThank you for your feedback. We can guarantee that all our dishes are freshly prepared. We use only regional and seasonal products. Our meat is smoked in an elaborate process and even there we use only the best part of the animal. The comparison with New York is difficult for us to comment on because we have no information about the quality and the pricing. The price comparison with France arises from the fact that the costs in Switzerland are many times higher.best regards
