We recently moved to Siesta Key after having vacationed every year for 25 years. We had not been back to Turtles in 20 years- thought perhaps it would have improved. Nope. I had a shrimp w crab meat bake which consisted of 3 shrimp and a tablespoon of mulched crabmeat ( ? -or so the menu read) drowned in oil. It was a very small serving and the Rumrunner cocktail was below average Although service was nice, we will not return because the food is so bad.

the curtains were up for the "indoor" patrons but with my 4 legged friend, we sat on the water and donned jackets! The waiter greeted Toby, the cute white furry friend and delivered water while bringing us adult beverages! next the order. Toby enjoyed "a waiter special" of several slices of cooked bacon and we dined on hot clam chowder and munched on chips and salsa! The service was THE BEST since I've been eating at Evie's! and Toby will want to return also!

You walk into the restaurant and some greets you. There was no one there so the female bartender came over and said "what do you want" - ummmmm.... a table please. Never smiled.....never greeted us with a welcome.....just made us feel incredibly unwelcome and at a time when everything at this mall is closed, closing or leaving......I'd think they'd want to retain customers. We turned and walked out. Sorry owners.
