I ordered the house special fish sandwich. The lettuce was limp, the tomato was not fresh. It was tasty was overly greasy. My partner ordered the fried shrimp. Small portion for the value. Cheese grits were bland. The view was beautiful.Thank you for your visit and thank you for this feedback. The food was pretty good here but I thought some of it was a little pricey. Our waitress was really good and made several good recommendations on the food for us. We had fried pickles (excellent), calamari, mahi-shrimp combo, burger, grouper sandwich, chicken alfredo.

If you always wanted to go to a biker bar but were afraid... go to this one. You will quickly find out... WE ARE ALL HERE TO HAVE FUN.Doug (the owner) says, "WE HAVE A NO FIGHT POLICY", so there has never been a fight. We all want to be invited back & we all are welcome any time. Anyone who says, "rough crowd and a little scary", never sat at the bar and said hello! I was a little apprehensive, the first time I walked in, but these folks are friendly. I look like a banker and I'm safe and accepted here.The music: This place is a national treasure. Why, you ask... DICKEY BETTS walks in with his guitar and jams with several of the bands that play here. For those who don't know... Mr. Betts is an American guitarist, singer, songwriter, and composer best known as a founding member of The Allman Brothers Band. He was inducted with the band into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995 and also won a best rock performance Grammy Award for his instrumental "Jessica" in 1996. He is on Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time list. His guitar partnership with Duane Allman, introducing melodic twin guitar harmony and counterpoint which "rewrote the rules for how two rock guitarists can work together, completely scrapping the traditional rhythm/lead roles to stand toe to toe". So, like I said, He and this place are national treasures. I have never seen a bad band here. Reasonable drink prices & the pizza is good

the curtains were up for the "indoor" patrons but with my 4 legged friend, we sat on the water and donned jackets! The waiter greeted Toby, the cute white furry friend and delivered water while bringing us adult beverages! next the order. Toby enjoyed "a waiter special" of several slices of cooked bacon and we dined on hot clam chowder and munched on chips and salsa! The service was THE BEST since I've been eating at Evie's! and Toby will want to return also!

Palermo serves up excellent food reminiscent of the NE US. I'm from Philly originally, and my cheese steak ranked up there with some of the best I've had. And the bread (he makes it there fresh every day) was fabulous!

There's something for everybody at Backhams--from beer to fish. I travel the world looking for places that serve gluten free foods. While we were visiting Sarasota, Beckhams was recommended for dinber. They are best known for their gluten free fish and chips. The fish and chips are cooked in gf oil and the portions full filling. There are plenty of non-gluten free options too. Its been a long time since I've had fish and chips and I enjoyed these with a side of slaw. Next time I visit I will try the bean burger.

This restaurant is I'm my neighborhood and I was looking forward to a great place to visit often. The name is inviting, but the physical restaurant isn't. It was disappointing---the atmosphere was dark and the walls and furniture unattractive. Most of all, the food was below average. I had the Avocado and Chicken salad which had three small slices of avocado. The chicken tasted good, but wasn't completely cooked and the plate was filled mostly with lettuce. I have expected more avocado, since that was the name of the dish.

This restaurant is very popular. Specials are great. Service good but restaurant is very crowded as tables VERY close and hard to get in chairs even for skinny people! Tables inside and out. It is as if so popular they shoved to many in small area. Never the less food is very good and you can get burgers cooked perfectly. We had a burger with lettuce, tomato, onions mustard and slaw. Also the juicy Lucy with lettuce, mayo and fries. Yuengling and diet coke. Good slaw also. A favorite to a lot of local bar scene folk. $27.02
