I routinely visit Tin Plate where passing through for work. Each time the service has been efficient and the egg and bacon rolls are just excellent. Their coffee also is commendable. Worth taking the couple of minutes detour of the freeway to stop for a bite and a brew.

Leisurely Sunday brunch - lovely relaxing environment. Always happy to support businesses that support the locals. Enough to pick from on the menu, fresh, tasty flavours. Great coffee. Big thank you for indulging my request, without fuss, to have eggs cooked to my preference. Reasonably priced, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Will return & would happily recommend.

Spent a very pleasant winters day driving to Ballan and having a casual lunch at Mill Cottage. The staff are friendly and the setting is well done keeping in tune with a yesteryear feel. The menu is simple but enough variety to please everyone. The chicken pot pie and three cheese soufflé were really well done and just right for a light lunch. Well worth the drive!

On our way home to Melbourne we stop in and had a coffee and cake. coffee was wonderful and the cake ( rhubarb slice ) was absolutely delightful. Would come back again.

A quaint rural locale with a pleasant team that make you feel welcomed and comfortable. The day we visited it snowed. How exciting. Now down to business. Ambiance: great. We were entertained with music from My Fair Lady and wonderful jazz selections. It may have been the wine but we couldnât resist singing along. Food: interesting and of good quality and quantity. Drinks: good range Coffee: the only disappointment Price: great valueVerdict: we shall return.
