We were on the highway around noon and called up nearby restaurants on Trip Advisor. We picked Willie Jewels, passing by Sonnyâs. I looked at the giant menu on the wall and lamented that they didnât have potato salad. The woman said they did, just didnât have room on the wall. I ordered the brisket sandwich with potato salad as my side. When I saw the meat, I was disgusted by all the fat. It was full brisketâ the point meat, the fat and the flat ( lends a lot of flavor but I always trim out the fat layer before serving, since thereâs usually plenty of marbling in the point). I I did my own trimming, and was highly satisfied!! Great taste and plenty of sauces to pick from. Potato salad also was delicious. What a wonderful find!

First time eating at a Sonny's and I was quite pleased.. Noticed a clean restaurant, waitress was very nice and friendly. Good menu selection. I had the pilled pork sandwich on toasted bread with fries--very good. They have like 6 varieties of BBQ sauce in bottles on the tables.. I sampled each, they all had very distinct flavors.. Located within easy distance of the interstate=I give it a positive review and glad we stopped here.
