This place is something hard to find anymore. Everything is cooked fresh. No canned or prepared foods. The vegetables are delicious. Cream corn is fresh cut off the cob. Fried okra is fresh lightly breaded and cooked perfectly and the same with the fried green tomatoes. Lima beans and green beans are fresh and so good. The fried chicken is cooked to order and outstanding. Hamburger steak covered with gravy and caramelized onions with homemade mashed potatoes is so yummy. Daily specials are also great ... meatloaf, turkey & dressing, fried pork chop. The fried catfish and fried shrimp are good. I honestly havenât had anything there that wasnât delicious. I could eat there every day. I have an appreciation for a good home cooked meal like your grandma would make. Chain restaurants donât have a chance in comparison. Itâs a diner and you can order burgers and milkshakes too. So good!!! You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I went for a late breakfast. We were seated promptly and I have to say the waitress was very friendly and courteous. It took a little while for our food and when we got it, the grits were cold and the butter wouldn't melt in it.The bacon, eggs and toast we're good.Now, that being said, the building is in much need of repair. The ceiling over our table was stained with mildew and water stains. The tables and floors need replacing. The bathroom needs new sinks, toilets and floors. The bathrooms we're not clean and unsanitary. This is a local restaurant, we went for convenience, but will not be going back.

I have been to probably every Waffle House in the USA at some time or another. This particular one is about the same, except that the servers have a very sharp sense of humor... they had everyone laughing for the entire time i was there.Their coffee is so strong the spoon gets nervous when you stir in the sugar. Which, is not bad when it's 11 at night and you need a pick-me-up.My order was just a simple omelet but it did not fail to satisfy- no acid reflux afterward... Around $8.00 plus tip.PLEASE do not play any of the terrible waffle house songs on their jukebox or some customers will threaten to smash your eggs for you.
