My Loco Moco was fair but not as good as the real meal in Hawaii. I have had Loco Moco several times on the Big Island and the meat is more flavorful plus the gravey thicker and a better flavor match to the meal. Along with all of that the Hawaiians make sure your portion is considerable.I expected a taste of Hawaii and was disappointed.

I've eaten at this restaurant several times and my experience has not always been good. Today, although them employees were not overly friendly, the service wasn't bad. The food was good. I had a pulled pork sandwich and a side of potato salad. I really like the pulled pork and the potato salad was really good. No real problems, but the employees need to lighten up a bit and be more welcoming to the customers.

Try the early bird special before 6. Comes with brisket, just ok, chicken, very good and ribs, yummy. Includes 2 sides I recommend scallop potatoes be one of them. The bring three different breads, the cornbread is the best. They also offer salads and sandwiches.
