Jacks is part of Pleasant Hill. Ask anyone who lives here to meet at Jacks and not only do they know the place but they have been there and they like it.The menu is based a lot on Greek food but does have a lot of variety.The also recently opened an adjoining tap room where plenty of beers are available on tap. Not surprisingly, all of those beers are also available in the restaurant.

After several visits over the last 3 years, my experience has consistently been great food and great service. I've had lunches and dinners here, with parties varying from 2 to 12. They have delicious food options and the service quality is always on point. They have yummy drink options too!

We ordered a couple of appetizers which included octopus and the clam chowder. Both were excellent. Bread served was also very good...toasty crust and soft interior sour dough. However, the entrees were just ok. My wife had a soft shell crab sandwich which was far too small for the bread it accompanied. I ordered the fish and chips and it was good, nothing more. Should have ordered the king salmon. Oh well. Service was fine, nothing special. Would go back.

My kids and I went here today. We saw a review on Yelp and, even though we were about 20 minutes away, decided to give it a try because .... who doesn't love cookie dough? It was so worth it!! Yes!!! It's cookie dough that is safe to eat and so delicious! They have some fun flavors and the owner was super friendly. And if you can't eat a whole scoop, you can take it home to have later or bake into cookies. We will go there again for sure! (And don't skip the toasted marshmallow topping - totally adds to the deliciousness!)

Diggers Diner was hard to find because it is tucked away in a small strip of storefronts. But... it was worth the effort locating them because our breakfast was very good. We shared the large Cinnamon Roll covered in cream cheese icing and thoroughly enjoyed it!

Use to be my favorite place when we came to town...they updated their Restaurant too...but I guess they have to pay for that renovation. They were going to charge $5.00 for me to change pasta instead of the rice...that's plain crazy. It's Chicken Marsala...it's suppose to be on pasta! Then when I get the food the bite of chicken tasted fine but the pasta tasted like they put some chemical in it...made my lips numb and the inside of my mouth. Could have been the wine they used. Exchanged for a sandwich but not what I wanted. So disappointed. I have had this before here too. I'm not looking for a free meal, but you'd think after that they'd at least give us a discount.On the plus side our server was really nice and he seemed concerned (more then the manager did).

Not many small local deli/sandwich shops around these days. Lots of deli items--salads and such,though the sandwiches take a back seat to Canesa's in Clayton. We have been buying their potato salad for parties here for decades. Good service.

I passed this place many times before I finally dropped in for breakfast. It's clean, cheerful and delicious. I had Strawberry Bliss crepes, my husband had the chilaquiles ( tortillas simmered in salsa with an egg,sour cream and other yummy things) Both dishes were insanely goodThey do have traditional breakfast dishes, so, bacon and eggs lovers will be satisfied.Not only does this restaurant have a kid's menu, there is an indoor play area for squirmy kids to run around. In addition to breakfast, Danica's Cafe also serves lunch. If it's anything like their breakfast, and I bet it is, you can't go wrong

This was a family visit while travelling. It was recommended by my son's friend as a halfway meeting spot. Give that person a medal. I have never--never!--met such kind and gracious people. They accommodated our wishes, made great suggestions, and then delivered a meal that all in our large group rated as outstanding. I would go back there in a heartbeat!

First time here. Friendly pub/sports bar atmosphere. Lots of beers on tap, extensive menu to select from. I opted for their house-made brisket tacos and my wife had the Chicago dog. Both dishes went great with a nice small craft Scottish Ale. Great local hangout in the quaint town of Clayton.
