Iâve been to several BJâs but first stop in Columbus- Polaris. The menus are the same as is the beer list. Service was acceptable considered that our girl was breaking in a new server. Problems came with what was served. Our party ordered a range from ribs to burgers to tacos & fish and chips. Ribs were praised while the rest was just average. An odd combination was one order of fries too hot to eat served along with an order of sweet potato fries actually cold to the touch. To the Kitchenâs credit, they did seat a YMCA group of about 30; and had prepared a buffet table to feed the group within minutes. When our server did return, the fries were discussed. She offered a dessert which could not be finished by the four people working on it. It was delicious.

From one wing fanatic to another, donât bother - Fresh...yes...but, served cold, flavorless, & breaded disappointments! Although a friendly staff, this is your standard sports bar atmosphere, with bright lights and shiny TVâs. Shouldâve followed my gut feeling and continued to pass this place during my travels.

A casual sports bar in the back of Worthington Square that serves outstanding bar food and pizza. Fabulous food with a friendly atmosphere for the entire family. A place to have fun plus great food. Wait staff is very friendly and attentive. Outstanding daily luncheon of pizza, salad, and soup buffet. Good value for the food.

This was my first and last time at 101 Beer Kitchen.We were seated fairly quickly and greeted by a very nice waitress, she took our drink order, came back quickly and took our food order. I had the burger, no mayo, medium (although I do love a medium rare burger) and my companion ordered the pretzel bites. We waited.....and waited......and waited. Finally someone who couldâve been a manager quickly came by and said that our food would be right out. He dashed off before I had a chance to look up to see him. But, he was right, our food came out shortly thereafter. We probably waited 30 minutes for our food. The pretzel bites are huge and the fries are really good!Burger came with mayo, but thatâs ok. I figured Iâd just add some mustard.....oh, there isnât any on the table. As I was enjoying my yummy fries and waiting for the waitress so I could ask for some mustard, I noticed the bun was really wet from the juices of the burger and I wondered how I would pick it up without having it fall apart. Anyway, I smushed down the bun and noticed my plate now had a good amount of juice on the bottom. It looked like someone spilled beef broth on my plate. Seriously, Iâve never seen such a juicy mess. Then, I cut the burger in half and then realized that the juicy mess was nothing compared to the raw, cold meat appearing before my eyes. I flagged down the waitress, showed her my plate. She agreed that was not right and took it back to the kitchen. In about 10 minutes I got another burger. Whew! After all that, the burger was a disappointment. It lacked any real flavor even though crispy bacon strips were added to the top. It was forgettable, for sure. Now, this whole time I am thinking that this is probably just a hiccup for them and Iâd come back to give them another try. I thought âI bet they comp my burger or maybe the iced tea or maybe the Manager will swing by to ask if thereâs anything they can do to make this right for the customerâ. Three strikes on that one. Food taking too long to get to the table and having to send back food to the kitchen are things that just happen in the restaurant business and wouldnât have been reasons to never return to 101 Beer Kitchen. But not even attempting to make it right for the customer is easily avoided and the right thing to do. This review wouldâve been so much different had they at least done something to make it right. I wouldâve given them 4 stars, wouldâve returned to eat there, wouldâve written a great review. You are absolutely right, and this is completely unacceptable and not in line with our standards. Every table should be touched by a manager and if there is an issue the manager should be making it right for the guest. I sincerely thank you for taking the time to write your review so we know and can address the issue. You are right, this happens in our industry. However, it is supposed to be how we handle it that sets 101 Beer Kitchen apart and we failed in doing that for you. My sincere apologies. Had a very solid brunch at Over the Counter. The eggs benedict is decent. The canadian bacon is thick. The hollandaise sauce textbook. A reasonable neighborhood joint for brunch if you ask me!

I had a great solo dinner at the Lucky Pint. The staff was awesome - very friendly and hustling all around. I went with the waiter-recommended half-chicken and I ordered some grits with goat cheese on the side. The chicken was out of this world! Moist on the inside with wonderfully crispy skin and a great little sauce over the top - it was absolutely fantastic. The grits were the opposite - unfortunately, they were just about flavorless, as if the kitchen totally forgot any seasonings. There were some very small crumbles of goat cheese on top of the grits, but if you're looking for cheesy grits then there should be some cheese in those things, you know? So, this was one of those rare times when a dish left a table because it just wasn't right at all. The chicken, however, was the star - completely great. However, this is a small place, so they're going to run out of stuff - maybe the dessert you want won't be available, maybe the entrée you were looking for won't be available. Come prepared for that. One thing I didn't see them running out of - beer. While I didn't partake in any with my meal, they had a ton of crafty options. All in all, great place - easy access, and wonderful staff. Did I mention the chicken?

We stopped by after cleaning out my Mother's apartment as she was moving to assisted living in a residential place. We split the fish and chips. Four pieces of breaded fish. Enough for two. A little soggy. Good blue cheese slaw. Good service. Pleasant servers. Noisy.

A former hardware store space in the quaint downtown space of Old Worthington, offering a nice variety of pub/bar food with a made from scratch touch. Burgers, fish n chips, etc. A tasty grilled portobello sandwich. Good variety of regional craft brews and full bar.

the Pizza and wings are absolutely better than average! I especially enjoyed the special in-house sauce on the wings. It's like a creamy ranch, only way better. The pizzas can be customized and they all taste really delicious. It's the crust, or the ingredients or everything. This is a very lively place, though a bit loud, but it's ok if you are hanging out with friends and want to be loud.
