This is so reminiscent of driving through regional France, choosing a local restaurant on speck and finding an absolute gem.Matthew and his crew are clearly devoted to the values of fine dining in this gorgeous old coach house in the quintessential Southern Highlands village of Berrima. Combining bundles of local produce with the finesse of a Parisian chef this is fine dining at its finest. The meal commenced with a complementary amuse bouche of potato and leek soup and perfectly rendered bread with truffle infused butter.The grilled lamb rump with pistachio and celeriac was simply devine - tender and perfectly cooked. My wagyu fillet with eggplant crisps, whipped potato, hazelnut and chimichurri was superbly cooked and wonderfully tender. Our mains were also beautifully presented on the plate as works of art, exhibiting the care, pride and attention to detail of a chef in his prime.Service was completely satisfactory as was the wine list. But itâs the food that stars in this excellent restaurant. Worth every cent.

Stumbled across this place on a quick trip advisor search, looking for coffee and snack on our way to a friends wedding. The friendly duo greeted us with a warm welcome, followed by a serving of the nicest coffee and most delicious treats- pastries, sweets and savoury items. The perfect spot for a quick bite to eat, seating inside and out, or grab and go. A cute fruit stall sits behind the cafe, with a gorgeous big Great Dane greeting customers. Be sure to take your keep cup, a discount offered. Would love to see less takeaway vessels, the heritage listed building prevents a commercial dishwasher, all items served in recyclable containers. We visited 3 times over 2 days, highly recommend! What a lovely review, thankyou

The food and service is excellent. The dishes offered are quiet unusual and very flavoursome. The serving sizes were very good. I certainly will be coming back to try other dishes. The costs were very reasonable. As we were there for lunch on a Sunday i was surprised at how full the restaurant was by 12.30 pm. Luckily we arrived at 12 to make sure we got a table.

Arrived early for lunch with a large group. We had pre booked so thankfully they were expecting a crowd. Service was quick and meals timely. Scnitzel was Plump and tasty, the salad fresh, burger was plentiful and juicy, chips crisp and hot... coffee was good, not burnt

Really nice surroundings and beautiful property. The staff are friendly and the food is great, outdoor lunch is very relaxing and the menu is nicely put together. The dinner menu is also very local and fresh and tasty. Staff are relaxed, professional and friendly.

This café is in the Moss Vale Mall which runs between the main road (Argyle Street) and the shopping centre car park. We had lunch here on two different days and found the service consistently sharp, welcoming and professional. They offer table service and the menu has plenty of options, including daily specials, at very reasonable prices. On our first visit our food was delivered very quickly. On our second visit it took a long time for lunch to arrive - maybe this was because one of us ordered risotto. I did notice other tables received their orders a lot faster. Regardless of this little glitch, the food was excellent quality, plentiful, and piping hot. We would definitely return to this café.

We dropped in late afternoon for a snack, we had the corn beef pie, a couple sausages rolls, toastie sandwich and an old school caramel milk sham. This was so good we went back the following day to do it again. Excellent wines and matched food by Venetian chef Marco Silvestrin. The dishes are all cooked fresh, and it shows. My special order mixed seafood was the dish of the week for mine. The Pinot Gris and Reserve Shiraz were excellent wines, thanks Eddy.The venue does themed events and is well worth a visit for some fine Italian dining.thanks for the review :-)

We were looking forward to a special anniversary dinner at Katers having booked a room at Peppers as part of the experience. Everything about the venue lived up to our expectations. The atmosphere at the restaurant was lovely, the food delicious and the service was of a high standard, friendly but not pretentious. I considered the prices reasonable, particularly for the standard of everything. We would return without hesitation.

My husband and I plus another couple had an amazing lunch here today, the food was fantastic, started with a Ploughman's board to start between 4 (quite ample) plus Salt & Pepper Prawns and Twice Baked Gruyere Souffle for mains, all beautiful! The restaurant itself has been beautifully renovated and is very comfortable and not noisy. Staff were excellent (especially our waitress, Brenda)!We didn't feel rushed at all, all in all a lovely experience which we will definitely do again!
