Without a doubt this was the best dining experience weâve enjoyed on the Sunshine Coast ever. Lovely location (tucked away) super friendly staff as a welcoming start. The food was brilliant. Had the fish of the day (Barramundi) that was cooked to perfection and the desert special, omg, it was soo good.If you are looking for a seriously good dining experience that wonât break the bank this is the place for you.Thanks for your lovely review and top rating. Our chef, Matt Dearing, loves cooking fish to perfection - its one of his great loves at work! And he labours over getting the desserts exactly right too. If you're going to finish off with a sweet, you should be rewarded by it being wonderful - and worth every calorie :-)

Yesterday we were fighting with our waitress (at The Boat Shed) and wondering why wait staff in this town seemed ill trained. We were wrong and the staff at Elliotts proved it. Our lunch (brunch, really) was grand and the wait staff were highly competent, delightfully pleasant without being pushy, and made our family lunch a real treat. Canât wait to go back, and meanwhile we highly recommend Elliotts.

Been here a few times and love it. Could be my favourite on the Sunny Coast at the moment. Got to try the bread, goats cheese and the pork entrees. Delicious!! Also try the absenthe dripper.

I feel compelled to write another review about this Maroochydore favourite. Food is superbly cooked and presented, using fresh and Australian sourced produce. Staff are friendly, efficient, and extremely helpful. Ambience is excellent with a nice position in the centre of the older Maroochydore heart. Pricing is at exactly the right level where you donât feel ripped off, and go away happier for the wonderful experience.

We had been trying to organize a breakfast cruise for a hens weekend. Initially the contact form on the website kept coming up with an error so I emailed them direct enquiring about costs, times etc. The response I received was a kind of brush off to the website issue. The response also said they would make a booking and to contact them with my credit card details, not actually answering my questions. I replied requesting the information before I would put any money down. Over a week passed with no reply so I took to Facebook and sent a message via social media. Instead of replying with information they "reacted" with a thumbs up. I sent another message via Facebook advising I had no response. I then received an email providing costs which were more expensive than advertised on their website. Do not trust the information on their website is correct or that you will get responses quicklyHi there,I'd like to apologize for this human error. We've been going through some staff changes in the last few months and it's been a bit challenging to keep up with the very complex booking system we have in place. I've recently come on board to help out and I'd love to make it up to you, if we could. Please feel free to email us at [email protected] and we can chat a bit more. I'm sorry again for this unfortunate human error.

Both indoor and outdoor (pet friendly) dining.Not fine dining but good enjoyable every day meals, some of the entrees are more interesting than the mains.Good wine list with value like the Mudgee house wine to a good Izway Barossa Shiraz.

Attended a hen party dinner at the end of the month and boy it didnât disappoint. The only silent hen party Iâve been to - the food was so good there wasnât a peep! The amazing quality was only surpassed by the fantastic service we got from Sam who really made an impression on us all (and spoiled us for future restaurants - weâll never experience the like elsewhere!)Between us I think the whole menu was tasted and there was no critique or bad words to say about it. First time trying Wooden Horse, what can I say but AMAZING! The young staff are so welcoming and committed which is really refreshing to see. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Please do your tastebuds a favor and have the steak, yummy! The cocktails were delish too! Will definitely be back!
