No where...you think...to buy coffee in Wondai?? Well we discovered Dans Dinner makes a nice cup or mug...plus all those naughty childhood deep fried items - there is a little country cafe area to sit but takeaway was for us

This hotel was recommended to me by the B&B I'm staying at. It's everything I love, old, still looking like it did when it was built. I understand some renovations were done, but it still looks grand. Food was good too. In Queensland no lamb cutlets so chicken Kiev. The vegetables were just cooked perfect. Great spot.

We have just had a few days holiday in the area. Came here for dinner the first night. It was so good, we came back for lunch yesterday. The food and service are excellent. The atmosphere is lovely for both lunch and dinner. Dinner has a cosy, European atmosphere and lunch is just superb overlooking the pond and lawn. There is a great wine list of course with wine tastings and sales available next to the restaurant. Highly recommended.

Three of us went to this pub for a lunch and two of us were very disappointed. The water to begin with tasted like soapy water so it was preferable to buy drinks and bottled water.My steak was meant to be medium well but it arrived swimming in juice.Another steak that arrived at the table was overdone. Once we mentioned this the staff realised they had mixed up the whole order so we ended up swapping salads and vegetables etc to fix their mess. My pepper sauce was ordinary. Gravy with some cracked pepper floating in it but the worse was the Dianne sauce my mate received. Tasted like gravy with a heavy dose of Worcestershire sauce through it. It was so strong it was not edible.The third person at our table ordered a burger and was happy with her meal.

Lovely clean refurbished pub/restaurant. We were there on a Sunday and were joined by many locals getting take away or eat in (at linen table cloth tables) Sunday roast special beef, pork or lamb with roast veg and regular or optional gluten free gravy. Roast beef was absolutely exceptional. I am sure any of the meals on the menu would be great and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Had dinner here on a Tuesday night: we both fancied the daily special of grilled barramundi with prawn topper, one needing to be gluten free and the other a regular serving.Menu catered well for those requiring gluten free and the kitchen staff were well versed in its requirements. Food was served promptly, generous servings and was very good.Drinks purchased separately from the bar.Venue was modern, surroundings pleasant and a most comfortable place to dine.

Nice winery - new and clean in a nice setting. Great outdoor terrace for wine tasting and dining. Reds are good - especially the late harvest ones. They also make some great spirits ! Had an excellent meal there with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Its a smaller winery but provides better service than some of the larger ones in the area.
