quaint little place in the main street. loved the fish of the day. it was very tasty and went back the next day for coffee which was great!

I went to this place when visiting Walpole. There are so many promising comments about this place on TA, so I have it a try. I had the seafood box - the amount you get is really a lot; I didnât manage to push down all of the fries but managed to eat all the fish. Wasnât so keen about the crabstick, but the fish was amazing (including the batter) - so were the prawns and the squid, followed by the scallops. Also the sauce that came with it was plenty! One star minus because of the crabstick (sorry, just not my thing) - but everything else was really nice. One of the best fish and chips I had for a long time! The staff ist friendly and very quick - the place is highly recommended!

WE went to the Thurlby Herb Farm as part of a fund raising event, there were 20 something in our group. The food was excellent, very well prepared and presented and a delight to eat. The service was very good, we really enjoyed.

We are staying in Denmark for 3 weeks and decided to drive to Walpole for lunch. We stopped at this café and ordered fish & chips. When we bit into the fish (which was supposed to be snapper) it was like rubber. The fish was tasteless and rubbery and if we dropped it on the ground we are sure it would have bounced. $30 wasted - will never go to this café again.John & Gail Laney
