Itâs been nearly 7 months since I walked in the door of this place with my family. Being of a religious childhood, the name sounded very welcoming and hospitable. It was anything but. Through the window, the café looked lovely; very stylish. However, the atmosphere was cold and unfriendly. We felt like we were in a fishbowl, being stared at by the patrons already seated. We walked to the counter at the back of the café and noticed 2 staff focusing on a cake on display. They were taking photos. We stood waiting for assistance, or at least a menu. There was no acknowledgement of our presence. After about 2 minutes, we located a menu right in the counter corner and awkwardly sat at a nearby table. We sat there for a few more minutes, checking the menu. The prices were surprisingly high. We possibly could have overlooked that, but the unfriendly atmosphere didnât allow it. Still not having been acknowledged by the two staff, we put the menus back and walked out. I looked back to the counter and noticed one of the staff smirking as we left. This lovely-looking café lost about $100 revenue because of their terrible service. Although the decor of a place may entice tourists into a shop, itâs the friendly service that keeps them there. Never again!Hello, Iâm really sorry that you felt like this, our cafe is well known for our hospitality! We love what we do and we definitely take a really good care of our costumers! Unfortunately your review show something totally different from every other that we received here, Facebook and Google. We are one of the finalists on the Glenelg Shire Business and Tourism Awards for the good work that we have been doing, specially for taking care of our costumers, locals and tourists. Our prices reflect the quality of the products that we use here, brands like Zeally Bay Sourdough, DLaurent Brioches and ciabattas, Istra Smallgoods, Meredith and Warrnambool cheeses, and our meat come from a top Butcher located in Mount Gambier! Our eggs are always fresh and delivered daily from a local producer! Fruits and vegetables also are local produced! And our coffee is Allpress which is a really respected brewery in Melbourne. Being in a small country town and distant from large cities also adds an extra cost to our products. Even though you said never again, I would love to have you here with your family, and Iâm going to personally make sure that you and your family will be treated with the care that you deserve! Also, Iâm giving you free meal and coffee on your next visit! See you next time.

At Entwined you may enjoy a wide choice of menu that includes fish, hamburgers and very delicious deep-fried potato chips. A refrigerated cabinet displays various cake slices, ready-cut sandwiches for those on the run, but also 'gluten free' serves. An up-market, colourful and new freezer has flavours of ice-creams.All styles of coffee are hand-made and served from a new espresso machine. As you linger and eat, try your tongue pronouncing the New Zealand Maori signs and humour that adorn some of the cafe walls - and be assured there is English translation for the spotless girls and boys toilets.Entwined Restaurant is a surprising gem in such a remote Victorian country town on the River Glenelg - the home of the Kelpie sheep dog. The Maori staff very efficiently and politely serve the tables.

Great lunch menu, not expensive, quick service. Visit this town monthly in the summer months, keep returning to this pub. Take time to look at the old photos in the dining room, marvel at the staircase and chandelier as you enter. One of our group requested no chips or salad with their choice and the price was reduced. Great PR !! Will be back

Best dining experience in the small town of Casterton best value for money and great atmosphere. Prompt happy customer service provided very happy with the overall dining experience. Local knowledge as to sights of Casterton that are a must to be seen. Highly recommend this cafè/ deli
Not sure why this cafe/lunch bar is called Central as it is on the west end of this small town. We were in Casterton for a week or so and this is the place for the best coffee. Good sandwiches and light meals as well. Friendly, family run (I think)
