If you are travelling through the town of Casterton in Western Victoria, suggest you take the opportunity and stop at the Mickle Lookout ... free. The views of the town (looking straight up the main street - Henty Street) and the surrounding areas are absolutely brilliant. Great photo opportunities.

An excellent park, great surroundings adjacent to sporting facilities, including a lovely 50m pool. All facilities are beautifully maintained an we were overwhelmed by the friendliness of the locals both in business and socially.

The Glenelg runs from Rocklands reservoir to the ocean at Nelson. Best areas to enjoy the river are in Harrow,Cavendish,Casterton,Dartmoor (fort o’hare campground is a great spot) or Nelson Between Dartmoor and Nelson is a popular area from Kayaking or canoeing with numerous camping spots and launching areas available
