Great to have some authentic Indian curry in Sri Lanka! The Indian owner was so friendly, gave us some complimentary poppadoms while we checked out the menu. Lovely surroundings, very trendy and nice Indian feel. Food was delicious and all served in lovely attractive Indian bowls. We had Goan fish curry, Mumbai Chicken curry, basmati rice, tempered potato (loved this) and daal. We were very well looked after and made to feel so comfortable. A must try. Wish we had had more time to go back again.

Food was nice,however over priced. Atmosphere was excellent, even u visit alone you will not feel board.Stayed back for the beach party which stared on a positive pitch while the manager was on control. The music which was played by the DJ is really questionable ????Rated 3 star purely for the beach party music,entrance for ladies will be free, guys you need to get tickets. All booze will be charged extra. Would have extended a better service and different type of music to suit all, for the amount that was charged.

Scruffy and a little grimy, this place offers a a local food buffet for LKR350, complete with rice, dahl and a range of veggie curries. The pumpkin curry was particularly good. But the service is woeful and the tables are dirty. The bright sign upstairs also attracts droves of mosquitoes. If vegetarian food is your thing, youâll probably want to try this place, but pack some wet wipes and mozzie repellent.

This small family run restaurant is a must!! The people are so friend & the meals are full of flavour. Slightly hidden down the alley way but worth stopping by. The menu includes a story about the background of the family - a nice touch :)

This place is awesome! Manoja and her family are so hospitable and welcoming. She treats her restaurant and customers like guests in her home. Iâve visited for the three-veggie curry special a handful of times.. every time has been excellent!!! Amazing food for an excellent value - definitely worth coming back!!!!

Came here on the recommendation of locals and we were not disappointed. Great little find down a narrow alleyway off main road. Food was superb - all freshly cooked, great choice on the menu, homemade, huge portions. We had a starter and a main and ended up ordering an extra of humous to take home as it was so nice.Plenty of choice if you wanted to return.

We arrived late in Galle Fort after a long drive from Ella via Udawalawe National Park and needed a feed. We stumbled across Elita and it was probably the best dinner we had in Galle Fort. Prices were on the very slightly higher end but after getting our plates we saw why. I had a whole snapper in a yellow coconut curry which was cooked perfectly and my husband had the grilled Prawns which looked more lobsters they were so big!Excellent meal and nice friendly staff. We did not stay at this lovely property but ate in it 3 nights out of 7! Food was wonderful, beside the sea with turtles popping their heads up a few metres away in the waves. Great, friendly staff and freshly prepared food. Also one of the fab swings that goes over the sea is part of the property.
