Reviewed By JulieConway831The rooms are not as pictured and although seems a beautiful room on closer inspection it is very tired and it was also extremely dirty. The balcony area was large and really nice. The bed was comfy. Although for some reason the room smelt like petrol. The shower was hot and Wi-Fi was good. Breakfast was great but not served at the hotel. You have to go around the corner to another place.

A peaceful and cosy home stay
Reviewed By Van EA great little place to stay right in the heart of the fort. It’s amazing to find a friendly home stay on Pedlar Street that is so quiet and peaceful at nighttime. I slept well here so I came back for a second stay. Overall, the bed and breakfast are good value for Galle. Breakfasts in the indoor courtyard gardens are a treat and a great way to start another relaxing day. Be sure to make a purchase at the handicrafts shop - you’ll be supporting local craftswomen.

Boutique, ocean-facing hostel on the south coast of Sri Lanka in the beach town of Hikkaduwa. Brilliant location, a 3 minute tuk tuk ride to the Hikkaduwa town and beach. Brilliant space, large spacious rooms/dorms. Every room/dorm has an ensuite, hot water taps and showers, ocean facing balcony, fans & aircon. Brilliant ocean-facing rooftop terrace and covered deck, 2 chill out areas, and a pool.

Reviewed By Anu HWe did not like Hikkaduwa but we like very much this hotel. Breakfast was average. Room and view was just lovely. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We like bed and shower with good pressure inc. hot water. Swimmingpool and roof terrace was top of the cake.

From the moment that we arrived we were greeted by Aslam and his staff with a welcome drink.The location was excellent,central and close to everything. The breakfast it was amazing! The room in the bathroom were very clean my wife and I were impressed by their attention to detail.We would definitely recommend staying there.

A corner of paradise
Reviewed By chn508Set in an idyllic corner of Bentota this is a perfect place for unwinding. The swimming pool is best i have ever used.The water is crystal clear with no chlorine but filtered using a new system. The garden grounds are beautiful with birds fluttering around of all colours. They have a variety of accomadation so choose carefully. We initially didnt have A/C but they found a room for us and we changed. Breakfast is available or you can cook your own in a communal kitchen OR your appartment may have its own. Very well priced!!!!! The beach is 5 mins away

Плюсы: + : 2-3 мин. до пляжа и удобное расположение относительно других популярных мест Уны. + Когда у нас сломались стулья, холодильник 2 раза, закончился газ, то хозяева все оперативно решили. Так же нам принесли "приветственные" мыло, 1 туалетную бумагу, кокосы и блинчики по приезду, было приятно. На время выключения света выдали свечи. + Для удобства нам натянули верёвку для сушки белья, принесли дополнительные вешалки, таз для стирки. + На месте мы сняли гораздо дешевле, чем на букинге. + Очень просторная квартирка, есть все необходимое, 2 душа, один с бойлером. + Удобно устроено освещение, есть много вариантов светового режима в разных местах. + Большой балкон на котором мы проводили много времени. Наблюдали с него каждый день обезьян, павлинов, белок + Внизу магазин, в котором можно купить самое необходимое и хозяева ночуют внизу в домике, так что вас никто не обнесет. Есть шкафчик с ключом в комнате, где мы спокойно оставляли деньги. Минусы: - очень, очень шумное место с окнами на дорогу. Закрытые окна никак не подавляют шум. Приходилось спать в берушах. Все эти тук-туки с пробитыми глушителями, кажется, что едут прям по комнате. В соседнем дворе живёт большая стая собак. Днём они спят, а ночью выбегают на дорогу и орут. -Мы сняли Гест на месяц и за это время у нас убрались и поменяли полотенца/ постельное только 1 раз! Спустя 7 дней проживания. Потом мы пытались договориться об уборке. Хозяин спрашивал один раз. Мы согласовали с ним, ушли на весь день на пляж, оставили ключи, но никто почему-то не убирался и больше не спрашивал. Тратить свой отпуск на требования уборки не хотелось и мы забили. Если вы интроверт и не готовы требовать, объяснять, общаться, то вам точно не сюда. -тк балкон выходит на дорогу, то очень пыльно. Через три недели уже было неприятно спать в этом месте. Белый балдахин на кровать был изначально грязный с пятнами, а через 3 недели стал ещё и с плотным серым налетом пыли. - невыносимо жарко из-за неправильного строения крыши, вентиляторы здесь не спасают. На кухне нормальная температура, а в комнате как в печке. - на Шри-ланке максимальные цены указаны уже изготовителем на товарах. Продавать выше этой цены незаконно. Мы знали это изначально, но первое время делали покупки в магазине внизу и не считали. И лишь через неделю поняли, что если не смотреть и не считать самому при них, то женская половина работников ( хозяйка и ,наверное, ее мама) накидывает к вашей покупке дополнительно 10-15% сверху. Мелочь, но неприятно, когда тебя обманывают. Мужчины же продают по ценам на упаковке. Мы бронировали на месяц, но уехали через 3 недели. А лучше бы уехали через 2. Успели все посмотреть за это время, поездить по побережью и стало скучно в Уне. Уехали в центр. Я всё хотела сделать фото квартирки, когда у нас уберутся, но не представилась возможность. Поэтому все фотки, которые у меня есть такие. Лишь балкон успела сфотографировать по приезду.

Best place to stay in Unawatuna
Reviewed By Melsim10The owner was always available to help and he gave us good tips about the places to visit. We could text him whenever there was a problem or if we had a question about anything. The free breakfast was really good and filling. The room is clean and the bed really comfortable. Its not located on the main road so its a bit isolated from the main attractions but in exchange very calm and peaceful. To get to the beach its a few minutes walk so we rented a scooter with the hostel to go around, which i recommend. We also did a cooking class with 4 other guests at the owner's house with his lovely family. The food was amazing and we had a great time talking and eating all together. Really worth the stay, we really recommend.

Reviewed By dialankatravelsI and my husband are stay one night at Hotel J. Few Steps from Main Road and very clean Room. Its better for Budget Clients. Very friendly staff and they allowed us to early check in before 2 hours. The lady who handled the Front office reservation is very good and Nice.
