About 7:30 on a Saturday night is when we were there. We had some spicy shrimp and basil chicken. I asked for some hot sauce on the side and the basil chicken was cooked medium hot. We had some ice water and a glass of plum wine. Our food was great. The shrimp was tender and not over cooked like in some places. Our basil chicken was very tasted. The staff was very helpful and the bathrooms was very clean. A lot of people was came in for take out while we were there also.

What a great selection. I took our senior citizen group to this restaurant. We arrived at 12:30 pm (lunch rust hour), they were kind and attentive, and prepared a place in a private dinning area to accommodate us. Everyone agreed that they enjoyed the food, and we all ate more than we probably should have. A special thanks to our server, Karen.

Excellent service, and our meals were out quickly. Had the wok fried rice, which was an enormous portion. Husband had the orange peel chicken and it was high quality chicken pieces that were fried and in a tasty sauce. Son had wok special with beef. Prices were reasonable and service was great.

There are a lot of interesting options available at this Conover Chinese buffet. It is a small restaurant but offers the usual suspects on your Chinese buffet, but also some interesting additions. The sushi was made fresh there right before your eyes. It was very good. They also had an octopus salad. We had to try it more for the "to say we did it aspect than anything else" (for the record-not to our liking-but interesting). The atmosphere is good, clean and warm. The service was minimal but worked for the buffet. The young lady checking us out was very accommodating splitting our bill for our expense report needs. This is a good place to get your Chinese buffet feast on. We would happily return. Our three star rating does not reflect negatively on this establishment but did not feel it warranted higher marks based off of our experience. Interesting and good place to go if in the area.

We had the egg rolls, North Carolina roll and the steak teriyaki. All the food was just average. The sushi was tasteless. The egg rolls nothing special (had better in Chinese buffets). The steak was tender and tasty. The interior was poorly done. Nothing special here. We expected better but were disappointed. Service was attentive. We would not return.

We always enjoy our take out from here. Such nice people. Friendly. They do have places to sit in the restaurant to eat but most of there business is take out. Prices are very reasonable. Food is good order is almost always perfect. Occasionally they forget to remind us about sauces but that is very rare. Always enough food for 2 meals.

This place is difficult to rate for us. The food was amazing. We simply loved everything about it. This is a great place to dine on Vietnamese food. It is difficult not knowing what you are ordering but we guessed and loved our selection. This is the second Vietnamese place we have eaten at in Conover. They are both offer great food.The downside to this place was the dirtiness. It is full and tables that are left un-bussed. It is a dark dreary place inside as well. But the young ladies run around like crazy trying to take care of the patrons dining at their location (which seemed to be a very Asian patronage-so it must be authentic). This was a true value from the food perspective. It is cheap very good eats! WE would go back and try something else. It is definitely worth a visit despite our not liking the atmosphere.

We thought the food and the service here were excellent. We had the #18 (not going to attempt the name). It was vermicelli rice noodles, shrimp, chicken and steak served on top of lettuce, cucumbers and bean sprouts. It was served with a sauce that was sweet and oil based. It was different than anything we had ever had. We also had a side of fried rice and egg roll. All the food was excellent.What drug this place down for us was the atmosphere. Nothing wrong with it but not exceptional which we feel a five star rating should have. They have taken a fast food restaurant and turned it into their home. It was clean and cool, but not interesting particularly. Still this is a good place to grab lunch and expand your horizons. We did and are very glad we did. Enjoy!!

stopped on our way home from being at doctors in Winston-Salem all day. Just wanted to get some food to take home to eat. Food was hot, server was polite, remembered my husband & remembered that no veggies on the Shrimp mei fun. Reminded him to not to forget the duck sauce. The people there are so nice. Thank you. They almost always give him a bottle of water to drink while waiting for his food.

Stopped in for supper and was quickly greeted and order taken. This is your usual fast food Japanese restaurant. My meal came out fairly quick. I ordered the scallops with mushrooms, rice and carrots. The dish did not look to tasty to start with and I had around 6 small scallops. ???? Mostly mushrooms ! The scallops were cooked ok, but no char like I like them and basically no flavor at all. The carrots also had a funny taste to them. Overall it was just OK but I probably wouldn't visit this place again.
