This place is a fast food type of experience. It features fish and chicken but also has hamburgers. We have been there multiple times during our trips to the area for business. We have tried the fish, shrimp, hamburgers and chicken and waffles. All of the offerings were good. It is the good not great scenario. What is very good here is the price. We felt it lacked the cleanliness and finishing touches you would expect from a great cheap eats destination. The bathroom was very lacking. The faucet on the sink in the bathroom was very loose and had significant movement each time you turned it on. A disaster waiting to happen. The service is with a smile and very prompt. Overall it is a good place to stop for cheap eats. We rate this place three stars but worthy of lunch stop.

Having lived near the ocean and now living inland is quite a challenge when eating fresh seafood. The Harbor Inn Seafood restaurant is pretty good though. Whatever I have eaten here I have liked. They do a very good job and serve lots of people efficiently. I'm not a big fried food kind of person but it's big in the south so there is a lot of fried items on the menu. They do offer healthier options, too. Their baked potatoes are very good. I would definitely recommend this family restaurant to anyone.

Traveled to Hickory for this restaurant. It is located in the Lowe's plaza on route 70. What looks like a lot of parking disappears quickly at peak hours. There is a waiting area at the entrance if you are meeting other people. Inside there is plenty of seating, an extra dining room that can accommodate a large group, and an attached Oyster bar which opens at 4:00.. The restaurant is well kept and the staff is pleasant. As you enter the restaurant the daily specials are posted. Lunch menu is served until 4:00. While you wait for your order, you can munch on the fresh, complimentary hush puppies. We had the lunch menu and the food was very good and came in decent size portions. Pricing is customer friendly. There are no TVs and no Wifi. High chairs and booster seats are stored in a sanitary area.
