At least on our recent lunch visit, the place was clean and the hot food was hot. There was a good selection and the plates weren't chipped. Could have had more salad and dessert items, but you can only eat so much at once anyway. the lunch buffet was $8.25 or about the same as a fast food combo meal which was reasonable, although I don't think i'd pay any more than that. Staff was pleasant. Had to wait a little bit on the bill as business picked up. Ate the requisite fortune cookies, looked at the bill, and then was confused. Someone needs to explain to the waitstaff that in the United States it is standard practice to list the number and cost of the meals, then show the tax, then gve a total. I don't know if they think they are saving time or what but they simply wrote the total due on each guest check- roughly $9.50 for one person, not one at $8.25, $1.25 tax, $9.50 total. Some people got really upset and it will cost Hiong Kong repeat customers if they don't change that practice.

This place is a little hard to find.Their parking lot is hidden behind the facade. It's well worth the search though. The interior is bright, airy, sunny, and nicely decorated with traditional Chinese restaurant decor. Our waitress was adorable and could not have been more attentive. She must have stopped by five times to make sure we had what we needed and didn't have any questions. The menu was maybe a tad non-traditional. This isn't exactly a "Chinese" restaurant, but as their name implies "Asian." The food that was served came out looking like a picture, just beautiful. Again, the waitress was very proud of how fresh the crab ragoons were, pointing out they were made fresh every day. They were exceptional. This may turn out to be one of favorite places to eat in Marquette. (And yes, you can see the lake from here.)

Their food isn't worth the time of day. I've tried eating their twice, not impressed. Their generals chicken was pretty poorly seasoned an just not worth eating. I didn't even finish it... HOWEVER, Smoothie King, which is attached is the best smoothie place in marquette (second being Java Bay) and possibly also the best smoothie place i've found in the entire world yet!

Happy to find this spot for a quick lunch or dinner. For $10 I was full and happy with a fresh, delicious tasting bowl of rice or noodle chicken teriyaki. Crisp veggies on top. They also have starters like pot stickers and wontons. Small place but it was good and nice staff.

Good thai food that was good for what we paid for it. The waitress was helpful with ordering, the only downside to my dish was the canned mushrooms. Fresh mushrooms would have really improved our dinners. Otherwise pretty solid.

stopped in again for some food while in MQT. i oredered a few few things and didnt want bamboo in my order..Aoy made sure of that for me..alaways alot of food for a great price..ill be back in a month and probably wont skip the bamboo this time (after all i was branded the NO Bamboo boy) LOL
