We often have breakfast here, and occasionally lunch. We enjoy the fresh, home-cooked quality of the food. There are many choices on the menu that changes seasonally. I love the California omelette and Meek's Salad, but there are spicy choices available for my husband, as well. The hamburgers are always excellent, cooked just as ordered. Since Guy Fieri discovered this jewel in our little agricultural town, Putah Creek Cafe has been very busy, especially on weekends when there will almost certainly be a wait for a table. However, one is provided with a alert so it is possible to remain outside or even to stroll a short way while waiting. We've always been impressed by how hard the wait staff works and how well they cooperate with one another.Thank you for the excellent review! What a wonderful compliment to our staff!

Saturday night for dinner at 6:00pm and the restaurant was packed. We had reservations and were immediately seated. The noise level exceeded 90db, sound-meter app on my phone, which made conversation impossible. But the food was outstanding. The Baseball steak is to die for. Dinner for three with drinks and one dessert was about $150 before gratuity. I'd return for another dinner but would bring earplugs.Thank you so much for your review! We are working on a remodel of the restaurant, which will definitely include sound diffusers. In the meantime, I apologize for the noise!

Preserve Public House is a dynamic addition to historic downtown Winters. We look to preserve and promote the story of self reliance and sustainability through food and drink. Well placed grains of salt give way to cured meats, fresh milk is transformed i
We recently stopped in on a hot day to grab some small plates and brews. We have dined inside for dinner before so we decided to check out the patio seating. The patio area is fully enclosed with wide open windows to street view. The cool breeze is perfect on a warm day. The whole space is rustic and sort of a relaxing vibe with foliage draping the back wall area. It's quite nice. The small plates were good. We had the broccolini tempura and poutine. The batter on the broccolini was not like tempura at all. It was just ok. The poutine was very tasty. Preserve always has good brews and cocktails.

We stopped at Tomat's for breakfast on the way to Lake Berryessa. They have a nice area outside in front of the restaurant with very comfortable chairs and tables where you can eat your meal and we chose to sit outside. We ordered the special of habernaro sausage and eggs and it was very good. They also serve a good Bloody Mary. Service was good! I would definitely return.

My mother and sister were out for a ladies lunch. This place was recommended. After getting there we thought it might be too much of a bar scene but we're pleasantly surprised. Nice patio seating as well as table seating. The waiter was very attentive and the chef created great tasting menu items.Best of all was the very good food. We ordered the reuben, The Youngs canyon (chefs favorite) chicken, artichoke cheese dip, bacon crumbles on a sourdough roll. The BLAT (bacon lettuce avocado tomatoes). We were all very full but couldn't leave without ordering Best of All the Apple Cobbler a la mode. Dont miss this or this place.
