Sons and I visited before a concert at Hollywood Amphitheater on their recommendation. Seems like the pre-concert place to go. They seem confused on the atmosphere they're trying to create. There were TVS with sports on, but hard to see from most seating. Music was too loud to hold any kind of normal conversation. A pooled waitstaff will annoyingly check on you every 2 minutes. The fact that you're not assigned a server, forces them to check on you constantly. Wished they were a little friendly, then it wouldn't have seemed so bad. The boys loved the beers, and they tried many. The burgers and the tacos were really good. The apps were OK and one arrived with a hair in it. The prices are a little high but not outrageous.

I'm a regular there! The reason is that I'm satisfied with their food, service and friendliness of the owners. Keep in mind that in the summer months they are slammed and that restaurant is packed. The reason is on the weekends they have concerts at the nearby venue. I suggest you try their Greek dishes and pastries. Tell them Jim sent you.

Tribes Alehouse is a nice place away from the busy Orland shopping area. Nicely decorated and plenty of TV's to watch the game. Service is friendly and fast. Menu is simple but food is fantastic! Large delicious pub burgers and sandwiches. I had a wonderful, tasty smoked pulled chicken sandwich I would highly recommend. Extensive wine and and whiskey list and fantastic beer selection. What I did not like (but understand because its ever changing) is the beer list is not on the menu. You need to view online or on the video board which scrolls a bit too quickly. Prices run a bit on the high end.

My husband and I ventured to The Egg and I for breakfast in September 2017. We like to try new places and new experiences. It was very busy, which is a good sign. But we only waited for a seat for a few minutes, despite the crowd. The staff were friendly and greeted us right away. Our server was VERY good at her job, despite managing multiple busy tables at one time. She multi - tasked like a pro and ensured we were well taken care of. My husband got the bacon avacado scramble, and I got the veggie eggs Benedict. Both were perfectly prepared with extremely FRESH ingredients. The portions were perfect and we enjoyed every bite. It was nice to come to a restaurant that tasted healthier and didn't fry everything or cook it in grease! Even the Hollindase sauce tasted light and healthy. I also like that the menu shows the calories!They have a kale cooler juice that was a wonderful start to the breakfast. I recommend trying it!Yaya was the name of our server.... huge shout out to her!We enjoyed our experience very much and recommend the Egg and I to everyone!Wow! Sometimes the quality of a restaurant can be determined by their service and attitude during a time when they are very busy. Such was the case this past Valentine's day when we arrived at 7 pm. This well-established restaurant, almost a hundred years old, serving high quality steaks and seafood was jam-packed. All of the tables were taken and at least 30 people were waiting to be seated. The restaurant manager, Jim Abbott, was stationed at the end of the bar near the entrance to the dining room. He greeted everyone. He even handed Fannie May Heart candies to the women as they came through. It was quite obvious that many of these guests were repeat customers that knew him and knew the restaurant and he knew them. This festive evening was set off by this friendly, robust, exciting atmosphere. As diners departed the tables were quickly and efficiently reset. We were seated within 30 minutes of our arrival. Our complimentary relish trays were presented by friendly and cheerful waite and bus staff and our order of T-Bone steaks and filet mignon were delivered promptly. We had a thoughly delightful evening.

Well we have eaten here before and had wonderful service. I had gotten free Bang Bang shrimp for my birthday. Our waitress took our order of which we were both ordering food besides this. Someone delivered the Bang Bang Shrimp and said, "Who is having this as their meal?" Neither of us were and she put it down on the table. We didn't get plates or napkins. I had to go to another table to get them. We noticed that the other tables were all getting bread with their Bang Bang Shrimp or meals. We didn't get any or were offered any. We sat a long time waiting for everything. We did notice a wonderful waiter who was taking the time to explain the menu and just giving fantastic service, suggestions and bread. We waited a very long time for the bill. We would have had a totally different experience with the right server. I did send a message to them, but I did not hear back. I have two gift cards to use there. She never offered us drinks and when she gave us the bill, I asked her if they still had the delicious Sangaria of which she said yes. I hope for a better experience next time.

I like the Steakhouse feel of this place reminds me of an upscale Steakhouse -- The Dallas Filet was a surprise, absolutely grilled perfectly. I would return to try more Dishes. Service was timely and friendly, I definitely recommend this as a good dining experience.

My daughter and I stopped for a early dinner on the way downstate. I picked up 14 bottles of wine from the wine club. [Yea]. She had the shrimp and scallop risotto with spinach and basil, and I had the grilled scallops. Both were very good. We were disappointed that the shrimp and grits were off the menu; they will be back in the cold months I am sure. We got there about 4:30 pm and parking was easy. Service was excellent.

Now I know oysters taste like whatever they are dipped in. I don't know what the fuss is about. (12 for $15 with a nice presentation). My meal was very good. Lake Superior whitefish, grilled with garlic glaze. $22 for enough to bring home half. It came with crusty zucchini sticks which were delicious, though I should not have eaten the breading. Couldn't help myself. The servers were very attentive and accurate. The place was sparcely populated on a Thursday evening, so it was quite enough to convere. My husband was not as impressed with his swordfish ($29), saying "fish in Florida" is better. He didn't leave a bite, however, and loved the smashed potatoes.

Staff was very attentive. Seated right away and food came out rather quickly. Coffee was DELICIOUS!!! My teenage daughter had the Vanilla Chai Tea and was pleased. My toddler was happy with her coloring sheet:) definitely coming back and want to share this great place to eat the most important meal of the day. Nice team work is evident with the great service.
