We just moved to the area and have tried Al's several times. The food is always hot and fresh. Homecut fries are great and the Chicago style beef sandwiches are made to perfection. Like the idea of the variety of sizes that are available. Highly recommend.

I can always count on the family at The Village to deliver consistently delicious pizzas that are a very good value. Sausage is top notch. Cheese is whole milk and sauce is a good balance of spicy and sweet. The dough is not too thick and has just the right amount of crispy crunch. Delivery is always within promised time. It can get busy at times, but that is because so many people enjoy their pizza.

Ottimoâs is always a delight. There are often daily specials in addition to a wonderful menu. The grilled calamari is the best I have ever had -a large appetizer that can definitely be shared! For lunch I tried the Parmesan Crusted Scallops ... large scallops that melted in your mouth! I have never had a bad meal at Ottimo and the service is always excellent! One of the best Italian restaurants in the Southside!

Visited Frankie's with friends and thoroughly enjoyed everything. We had to wait for our reservation and were served complimentary bruschetta when seated. 2for1 pasta was a great deal, with a limited selection for the special. Farfalle with sausage and peas in a Parmesan sauce was delish. Veal dishes were enjoyed by a few and the pork chop was thick and juicy. Red sauce on the spaghetti was the only disappointment. Friendly efficient service and a good wine pour added to the positive experience.

We were a bit worried when we walked in and the restaurant was empty. But it was wonderful!!!!!! Everything was superb....the martinis, the salad, the main dishes and the dessert. Nothing was less than outstanding. And the service was excellent. We don't live in the area, but hope to go back. It is definately worth the extra 5-10 minutes off of I-80 if you are just passing through. Highly recommend .

We had a surprise 50th Birthday party with family and friends at Gattos at Orland Park, Il. We got to pick the choice of food we were interested in and wanted. We were also served an appetizer with a choice of drinks. Everything was very good. We had an enjoyable evening.I recommend a number of Gattos restaurants that I have visited from Tinley Park to the one near Downers Grove. All their food has been excellent.

I promise you - you will be disappointed! This place is outstanding from the atmosphere to the top notch service, the cleanliness to the killer table bread! The main menu has a wonderful traditional Italian selection, Chicken Vesuvio, Rigatoni Vodka Sauce, Lasagna with Giant Mestball etc etc etc but they also offer a daily Specialâs menu which always offers something mouth watering. Every salad and appt. has been out of this world! Burrata with roasted squash and veggies, fried goat cheese with marinara etc etc I mean honestly, you cannot go wrong with this restaurant. They have a great wine selection and make awesome martinis. I feel we get a great value for our money especially when you compare some other places you might have fined at in the area lol. This place is dynamite ! Good for couple, parties, family. Long bar that offers full dining service. And they do have a Facebook page so you can keep an eye on their daily specials. Which I do :) Go check it out! And enjoy!!!!!

We have been coming here for years but never had the pleasure of having friends and family in for the family style banquet. So much to select from and very fairly priced. We ordered the salad. Italian beef. Fantastic. Fried chicken addictive. Mashed potatoes and gravy. Pasta Mixed vegetables. Included was buns for the beef and garlic bread. ALL homemade no instant anything. And it was so good. Next time you have a gathering one here you wonât be disappointed
