While visiting the area, the Rusty Lantern was recommended to us. We stopped by and had a great lunch. The atmosphere was great with a rustic/ranch decor and very friendly staff. My wife got the special and my son and I had burgers. Everyone was very happy with their food. It was very good and very satisfying. I will return next time I am in the area.

We shared one of the combos that included the 1-lb burger, fries, drinks and ice cream. They are not stingy on portions. I noticed that splitting the larger burger is actually more frugal than everyone getting a regular burger. There is plenty there for 4. Often "big" burgers are more about hype than taste, but this was really good. We enjoyed what we could there, then took the rest home for later. We found the staff to be pleasant and helpful, even though it was super busy on a Friday evening. I'd definitely go out of my way to eat here again! It is FAR off the beaten path. It has a Rexburg address, but it is pretty far away on winding country roads.

Since most of the places in Idaho Falls were packed for breakfast, we decided to try our luck and find another place on the way. Yelp had good reviews and they were open on a Sunday morning! Good food, good service, not far from the highway. A great find.

The young lady who waited on us really IS a morning person. Friendly staff, good, fresh food! good place to grab a quick bite. We had the breakfast sandwiches on the flat bread.(Should have asked for double the bacon, but, it was still good.)

We had the opportunity to try this place when its food truck was at Iona Days. Honestly, the first impression wasn't that great since the cheese was not melted in our calzone and they were sold out of almost everything. However, with our recent stay in Rigby, we were able to order via drive thru and give it a second try. To our surprise, we found these calzones to be the perfect pizza pockets. The sauce and contents tasted fresh and evenly cooked with a homemade crust. I can't say that having fries with it was a good compliment, they seem to hold their ground all on their own. Now, we just need to try the other items on their menu.Thanks for the 4 Button Rating for The Great Bambino Italian Restaurant and the kind words. This is one of only a very few good places to eat in Rigby. The pulled pork sandwich topped with a side of coleslaw is delicious. The meat is tender and juicy - just perfect. We were there at 11:45 for lunch and we had to wait about 10 minutes in line to place our order. Due to high demand, itâs possible they may run out of certain items but plenty of great choices will still remain. The vegetarian in the group would be pleased with the large baked potato option.
